Computer Crime, also known as cybercrime,e-crime or hi-tech crime refers to criminal activities that involve the use of computer , computer network or computer technology. These crimes target individuals or companies and aims at stealing the computer π₯οΈ, stealing their private information or damaging information
They are often performed by knowledgeable computer users
*Examples of computer crimes:*
π₯οΈ *Hacking*: Gaining unauthorized access to a computer system or network.

π₯οΈ *Phishing*: A fraudulent attempt to obtain personal information, such as usernames, passwords, or credit card details, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.
π₯οΈ *Denial-of-service (DoS) attacks:* Overwhelming a computer system or network with traffic, making it unavailable to legitimate users.
