A story was told of a man who was based in the US. He owned a conglomerate and was doing really well. One day, he passed on and left all his wealth. Unfortunately, he was a divorcee with no children.
Fortunately for Mr. Chukwu, he was the next of kin, and was called to come to the US to take over his brother's business. He was so excited. This is the greatest miracle he would ever receive in his life. He successfully moved with his family to inherit his brother's business and properties. On reaching there, he realized everything was computerized.
He couldn't manage the business properly because he was unskilled in the use of computers. After 5 years, the business went bankrupt, and as I speak to you now, Mr. Chukwu is homeless.
A story of another man: he has the opportunity to travel to the UK. One day he sees a job advertisement on Facebook for the position of a marketer. He has a degree in Marketing with fantastic grades. The offer really matched his academic background, and he had the higher chance of getting the job.
He quickly applies and is invited for an interview. The interview is going very smoothly, and the panel is very impressed with his in-depth knowledge in marketing. It is obvious that he would be given the job, until something happened. One of those in the panel asks him, "I see you added that you are proficient in MS Excel, how do you program Excel to give you the list of customers' phone numbers who are owing the company."
Mr. Chukwu didn't know what to answer, and that was how he lost the job that would have paid him ยฃ70,000 annually.
