A guy attended a wedding. after the wedding the
reception was a gathering of about 30 people.
He sat at the front seat. Then a lady started
sharing food. She started from the back and
unfortunately, it didn't
reach those at the front. When her friends started sharing drinks, they started from the front but unfortunately, he had already changed his seat to the back. Again, the drink
didn't reach him.
He was so furious and he stood up to take his
leave but then he saw three ladies each with a big bowl. This time, he tried to be wise by seating at the middle. To his uttermost
surprise, one of the ladies started sharing from the front...and the second lady started distributing from the back. It was turkey meat.
When it got to the middle where he was seated it got finished again.
Feeling so frustrated, he bent his head, not looking at any face...but then the third lady tapped him and stretched her bowl that he should pick..
he stretched his hand...
Guess what was in the bowl?
Toothpick.
Lesson.
Wait on the Lord and he will locate you at where you are. Don't change your faith/
believe. God knows your seat! don't try to b smart
and miss his blessing! The race is not yours.

, are you being and in your Christian journey? Making every effort to live according to the word of GOD but are faced with rejection and insults from the world because you stand for GOD? Fear not, and take courage for nothing but the power of obedience causes heaven to smile on mere mortals. Beloved, obedience moves the hand of GOD to swear by Himself. Our obedience to GOD reflects our towards Him.( if you love me obey my commandments). When GOD blesses, he doesn't end at you, he blesses generations. His blessings have a repeat effect on your life and many generations after You. , if you are being loyal & obedient to GOD but you are not seeing any transformation. , there is no one beyond the reach of GOD's power, grace and love. His grace is able to locate you even when other people around you don't seem to value your worth. Sometimes we wonder how we can get to the top from where we have fallen or we are being located, forgetting that GOD was the one who lifted David up from the sin of adultery and Joseph from the prison. This is to tell us, that no matter how far we may fall GOD can still get us up again. Don't let the enemy deceive you into thinking that, your present state is your final destination. No situation in your life is permanent as long as you are trusting in GOD. You may fall or fail but that is not the end of your story, GOD will not give up on you until He lift you up again. The top is your destiny, don't allow yesterday's failure hinder your desire for GOD's best for your life. In fact, you will never appreciate the top if you have never been at the bottom. GOD may sometimes permit us to go through certain humiliation just to humble us so that He can prove His power and kindness in our lives. Wherever you are now, GOD has a place reserved for you at the top, keep believing and trusting Him and He will get you there.

, the essence of Christianity is not for us to live the way we want but rather to live the way GOD desires. True Christianity is not seen inside the church building but rather outside the walls of our church building to the world. GOD is not interested in we labeling ourselves with His name but interested in the way we live our lives in accordance to His word. GOD's word is the only standard that governs the life of the believer, and tells us whether we are living right or not. Total obedience to GOD's word is the requirements for every believer who claims to have JESUS. In fact, what proves the existence of JESUS in the life of a believer is in his or her obedience lifestyle. JESUS CHRIST came on earth doing only the will of His Father, therefore if this same JESUS dwells in us, we should expect our lives to reflect Him in total obedience to GOD.
, looking at your life since you became born again, are you making advancement in your obedience to GOD? Do you think GOD is happy about the way you live your life? GOD expects more from us because He has given us everything we need through His grace to live a life of obedience that will bring Glory to Him.

Every relationship has its own set of challenges and conflicts that occasionally confront the couples. You and your partner emerged from different families, with different background experiences which will eventually make your relationship to be different from other people's relationship or marriage. Your partner who is different from you will occasionally behave or do certain things that may irritate you. The problem will not always be as a result of the behavior of your partner but your attitude towards them will be the problem. Continuing with our practical steps in building a healthy relationship or marriage, let's consider alphabet letter O.

O : OVER LOOK - If couples will accept the fact that they and their partners are to work in progress they will stop all the negative comments, blame games, critics and unnecessary accusations they accord to their partners. Studying the characteristics of a p***ycat and a dog we can learn certain useful lessons that can help us lessen tension in our relationship. Pussycat is a dangerous pet but very quiet, some even call them little lion. A p***ycat may see a lot of things but will intentionally over look them. If what the p***ycat see wouldn't pose any threat or danger to it's life or environment it wouldn't mind to disturb itself. But if the situation seems dangerous it will deal with it without making noise and that is called wisdom. This should be the attitude of couples, dealing with dangerous issues that can destroy their relationship without making noise (like blaming, accusing or insulting and nagging) and over looking certain minor errors that our partners may commit. Being like a dog will destroy your relationship with no time because with every little thing you hear or see you will shout and shout about it. Haven't you seen a dog barking at the sight of mere shadow? This shouldn't be part of a healthy Christian relationship but one displayed with much wisdom and discretion. This shouldn't give permit to couples to take advantage of their partners silence to do certain silly things that will destroy their relationship if not you may see the in your p***ycat.

EVERY ONE IN A RELATIONSHIP IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. YOUR PARTNER MAYBE TRYING HIS OR HER BEST. IT'S BETTER TO ENCOURAGE YOUR PARTNER THAN TO BLAME, ACCUSE OR CONDEMN.

" What you don't know about your partner or relationship will be killing your relationship gradually and daily till one day you wake up and hear your partner packing to leave the relationship". Sometimes when young people are told that LOVE is not enough to build a lasting marriage they wonder how true it is but that is the perfect truth. LOVE may start a relationship but you need something more than LOVE to build and hold that relationship or marriage. Most times what people call LOVE is not really LOVE but rather lust, infatuation or a chemicals called hormones running through their bodies. We've witness wonderful loving couples who because of the romantic attraction they had decided to settle down in marriage only to become deadly enemies later and head to the court of law for divorce. We'll be continuing our practical steps in building a successful lasting relationship with the alphabet letter K.

K : KNOWLEDGE - The great Apostle-Peter after years in marriage and following JESUS gave one of the best way to keep a marriage and that is to live with each other in . Most couples are disappointed because their partners whom they thought were spiritual, tongues speaking, intelligent or educated are not able to live with them and meet their needs as they have expected. The power and influence of ***knowledge*** in relationship building can never be over emphasis. Having the right knowledge about your partner and what relationship is all about will give you the tools to save your relationship from many troubles. Many people are praying to get into relationship and marriage but are not preparing for it. Marriage is a journey, someone is already in, they know what you don't know, they have seen what you haven't seen and it's prudent to go for knowledge from them. Learning by observation, experience, listening and reading is the best way to acquire knowledge. In fact, the reason why most people in our generation are struggling in their relationships and marriages is because the ignorance is too much, they don't like to learn. After the initial stage of LOVE that brought them together is gone, they don't know what to do in order to keep the relationship or marriage going. Out of frustration many couples break their relationships because they claim they don't have LOVE for their partners anymore and then goes round looking for another person whom they can start another season of romantic LOVE with. But who told them they need to be "feeling LOVE" in order to stay in a relationship. Having the right knowledge about what relationship is all about, your partner's temperament, background, LOVE language, likes and dislikes, upbringing, passions, strength and weakness can go a long way to help build your relationship. If you are confused in your current relationship then it's because you are lacking some knowledge to fix certain things in your relationship. From today, expose yourself to knowledge because GOD has said "my people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge" and not beauty, money, prayer, or spirituality.

KNOWLEDGE IS THE KEY TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARTNER IN WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING. WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW IS WHAT IS DESTROYING YOUR RELATIONSHIP. LACK OF KNOWLEDGE CAN MAKE YOUR PARTNER BECOME A TOTAL STRANGER TO YOU.

Since JESUS is now the righteousness of GOD for the believer, GOD desires that we accept what Christ has already done for us and allow Him as the king of our lives. Looking at the acronym of the name JESUS who is the righteousness of GOD for us, we'll see some important things that can change our individual lives and as a nation as well. J E S U S
J : JUSTICE - As a nation and individuals GOD expects us to live right and treat other people right. Christianity without the right living and treatment of others is just a .
E : EDUCATE - Educating ourselves with the right information will go a long way to affect the way we act and do things. Right education with the word of GOD and other relevant information is the key to transforming us from one state to another.
S : SIN - Sin has always been man's greatest . If believers and nations are unable to listen and obey GOD's word then *** power of sin***, dominion and *** will break its power.
U : UNITY - One thing heaven and earth respect about humans is our ability to come together to build something we've always desire for. No house or nation can progress without the spirit of unity.
S : SERVICE AND SACRIFICE - Unfortunately, most people don't know that nothing good or great just happens. If we are not ready to serve and sacrifice there's no way we can have whatever we want as individuals and a nation.

" The beginning of everything starts with a - Why did you choose your ?". I don't think in our current generation someone can wake up and find himself or herself in a relationship with a person he or she hasn't thought of. There is a reason behind every *choice* or decision we make especially when we decide to be in a relationship or marry someone. Even though every single person may have one reason or another for choosing their partners, the truth is you shouldn't have a reason why you LOVE your partner whom you are in a relationship with. Continuing our practical steps in building a successful relationship, we'll consider the alphabet letter M.

M : MOTIVE - The motivational force behind LOVE is the command of GOD to LOVE. In fact, there is no reason why we are commanded to LOVE our partners and even if there is a reason then GOD should be the reason behind it. It's dangerous to be in a relationship with someone who loves you "because" of A, B or C. In the BIBLE we are told of GOD's LOVE for us but never told why He loves us. If there is a reason why GOD loves us then we'll be compelled to meet that requirements of LOVE. The truth is GOD loves us without a reason and He also wants us to LOVE our partners without a reason. If you have reasons why you LOVE your partner then when those reasons are no more, you will cease TO LOVE him or her. The reason why GOD keeps forgiving us our sins whenever we sin is because He doesn't have any reason backing His LOVE for us, He just LOVE us. But the reason why we find it difficult to forgive our partners is because we have reasons why we LOVE them and whenever they are not able to meet those reasons that has become our expectations we tend to be disappointed in them and deny them ***forgiveness***. Example, if you LOVE your partner because of something he or she does for you, when they cease doing those things, will you still continue to love them? Will you continue to LOVE your partner if he loses his job? Will you continue to LOVE your partner when he or she is aging and sick? Will you still continue to LOVE your partner if her beauty fails? Will you continue to LOVE your partner if he goes bankrupt and broke? Will you continue to LOVE your partner when you later found out he or she isn't perfect as you have always assumed to be. If you LOVE your partner because of who he or she is or the things they have or have acquired then you are heading towards a great disappointment because LIFE is not predictable. True LOVE has no reason why it loves, couples will enjoy a better relationship when they begin to LOVE without reasons.

IT'S NEVER SAFE TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP WHERE YOUR PARTNER HAS REASONS FOR LOVING YOU. IF YOU FAIL TO MEET THEIR REASONS YOU LOSE THEIR LOVE.

TRUE LOVE ACCEPTS AND LOVE THEIR PARTNERS AS THEY ARE WITHOUT ANY REASONS...❤

"When a Man truly loves a woman she becomes his weakness. When a woman truly loves a Man he becomes her strength. This is called Exchange of Power". Adam's weakness was his wife and Eve's strength was her husband. Eve initiated the fall of Adam from Glory to grass, and Adam consciously disobeyed GOD because he couldn't stand to see Eve the LOVE of his LIFE die alone. After Adam was driven from the garden he didn't insult, abuse, accuse or threaten his wife with divorce but rather upgraded her by giving her a wonderful name called Eve. There are deeper things in marriage that calls for something stronger for couples to emulate in order to safeguard their sailing marriage. Continuing our practical steps in building a successful relationship we'll consider the alphabet letter L.

L : LOVE - LOVE is more than the feelings that goes through your body when you first met your beloved. In fact, if LOVE is just a feeling then we would have been fallen in LOVE with virtually every single person we meet who fit our appearance test. The feelings we experience are good, they make us enjoy the company of our beloved but they are just some chemicals called hormones that runs through our body system to initiate the attraction. With time the feelings will subside, and we'll come back to our normal state and that is when the trouble begins. Some people wake up and begin to ask who is this person I'm in the relationship with, at this stage the euphoria is gone. The truth is, LOVE is a decision you make to commit to the needs of another person. It's the ability to anticipate the needs of your partner and try meeting them even before being ask to. The prove of LOVE is not seen in our words but in our actions and the way we treat our partners. If you claim truly to LOVE your partner then try putting YOUR NAME (YN) in the definition of LOVE and see whether you are practicing what you truly claimed or not. " (YN) is never tired of waiting; (YN) is kind; (YN) has no envy; (YN) has no high opinion of itself, (YN) has no pride; (YN) ways are ever fair, it takes no thought for itself; it is not quickly made angry, it takes no account of evil; It takes no pleasure in wrongdoing, but has joy in what is true; (YN) has the power of undergoing all things, having faith in all things, hoping all things.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7. Does the above definition of LOVE fits the way you treat your partner? Can your partner see the characteristics of LOVE in you? If Christian couples will learn to emulate the the BIBLICAL characteristics of LOVE, I believe many foolish and unnecessary troubles will cease in our relationships. The best stage to prove our LOVE to each other is in our marriages and relationships. But it's never too late for couples to start building their relationships on the BIBLICAL definition of LOVE. You and your partner can start something now, you may sometimes fail but get up as often as possible and continue your LOVE walk.

THE LOVE THAT BROUGHT YOU AND YOUR PARTNER TOGETHER IS NOT THE SAME LOVE THAT WILL SUSTAIN YOUR RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE. YOU NEED A DECISION BASED LOVE AS THE BIBLE TEACHES TO BUILD THE GOD KIND OF RELATIONSHIP.

IF YOU PRACTICE GOD KIND OF LOVE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP YOU WILL HAVE THE KIND OF RESULT GOD WANTS YOU TO HAVE

" Any relationship or marriage without GOD is already in hell, because it's in hell that GOD is absent. Heaven is GOD' s home, if HE's in your relationship then you can have heaven on earth". The only place full of chaos is the place without GOD. Many relationships and marriages can't stand or survive the test of time because GOD is absent and not welcome there. People choose their partners based on their preferences and not on their convictions. What they want is far more important than what GOD wants for them. Having GOD in your relationship will not make your relationship or marriage immune from the attacks of the devil but as the devil was once cast out of heaven, GOD will continually cast him out of your relationship or marriage as often as he shows up. Continuing our practical steps in building a successful lasting relationship we'll be considering the alphabet letter J.

J : JESUS - Because JESUS was invited to the marriage feast and He was there, when their wine got finished He performed a miracle to save them from disgrace. This is JESUS for you, if you invite Him into your relationship or marriage He will never disappoint you or allow your relationship to sink in disgrace but will save it and glorify Himself in it. Having JESUS in your relationship is to make sure you do things that pleases Him and are in accordance to His word. Whatever you think or do, you must first ask yourself 'What will JESUS do'. If you are tempted to cheat on your partner ask yourself 'What will JESUS do'. If you are tempted to insults or hold grudges of unforgiveness against your partner ask yourself 'What will JESUS do'. If you are tempted to set up a trap for your partner ask yourself 'What will JESUS do'. If JESUS will not do what you are planning to do that will hurt the feelings of your partner or destroy the image of your relationship then think twice. In fact, if before you took a decision or say something to your partner you first ask yourself 'What will JESUS do or say' you will react very wise and safe to save and secure your relationship. Many relationships are going through hell because the word of GOD is not the standard of living for the couples. Doing what you like, think or feel will never guarantee you a successful lasting relationship or marriage. Allow JESUS the author and the finisher to start with you and you are guaranteed of seeing a wonderful ending. The absent of joy in your relationship is an indication that something is missing, find it.
