We are thrilled to unveil the recipients of the 7th annual Ghana School on Internet Governance (GhanaSIG) Fellowship!

Selected from a record-breaking pool of over 300 global applications, this year's cohort is our most diverse yet!

🌍 79 Fellows selected in total.

🇬🇭 50 Local Leaders from across Ghana.

✈️ 29 International Experts representing 18 countries including Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia, and more!

This intensive hybrid programme - featuring one month of online sessions and a week of face-to-face training brings together voices from Academia, Government, Civil Society, and the Technical Community to shape the future of digital governance.

Event Recap of Ghana Universal Acceptance Day 2026! 🇬🇭✨

​What a resounding success! ​Team EGIGFA is thrilled to have spearheaded the celebration of Ghana Universal Acceptance Day 2026. As the lead organizers, we witnessed firsthand the power of collaboration in driving digital inclusion across our nation.

You are invited to join us online for this year's Ghana Universal Acceptance (UA) Day training.

The schedule is as below:

Date: Wednesday 6th May 2026

Please register at bit.ly/2026GhanaUADay to attend.

The 2026 Ghana UA Day training will focus on how local scripts (example: ɛ, ɖe, ƒe, ʋ, me, ɔ) can be used in domain names and emails.

We will also test our systems for UA compliance, i.e. to accept and process emails that contains other international scripts.

This year's event is jointly done with Ghana Domain Name Registry, Association of African Universities and Unesco Ghana.

Ghana UA Day is supported by ICANN.
