There was a time when interacting with a computer primarily meant typing commands - managing files, launching programs, and performing other tasks were all done through the command line.
C:\> - the command prompt where we typed commands and told the computer what to do.
Then Windows made interacting with computers more visual and intuitive - instead of commands, we had windows, menus, and the simplicity of a single click.
Today, we’re at another stage of computer interaction - we often just describe what we need, and AI responds by generating text, code, ideas, or analysis.
