Across the world, universities are adopting VR to train future tourism and hospitality professionals. From Salzburg University of Applied Sciences to Indiana University and the University of Baguio, VR is being used to practice storytelling, guest interaction, safety protocols, and heritage interpretation — transforming how tourism education is delivered.

VRex is introducing an Immersive room for education

This innovative space will let tourism students explore Georgia’s destinations in virtual reality — complete with 360° environments, AI audio guides, and real-time mentor supervision. It removes barriers like weather, distance, and seasonality, giving students real-life experience in a fully immersive learning setup.
