At the 22nd Caribbean Internet Governance Forum and 5th Caribbean Youth Internet Governance Forum, our Founder and CEO, Chad Fraser, participated in the Day 3 panel, “Beyond Connectivity: How ICT Companies Can Drive Digital Innovation, Cyber Resilience and Economic Growth in Grenada.”

Chad reflected on Sonover’s 12-year journey and the measurable impact that locally developed software can have on public-service delivery—streamlining complex processes, improving efficiency and creating solutions with the potential to scale across the region.

He also issued a clear call: Grenada must begin treating technology not simply as a support function, but as a serious revenue-generating sector capable of creating high-value jobs, retaining local talent and transforming the economy.

Achieving that vision requires intentional investment, greater opportunities for homegrown and regional providers, and a more deliberate approach to technology procurement.
