We have an exciting opportunity to join our workshop as an Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator.

Awards a Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Level 3, and an Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering through York College.

What you will do in your working day:

- Operation of various CNC fabrication machinery including press brake, punch and router, with possible progression onto the laser
- Use of CAD/CAM software to create/edit drawings and toolpaths
- MIG/TIG welding of steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Operation of powered rollers and PEMserter
- Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
- Pre assembly of manufactured components
- Basic hand tool operation (filing, sawing etc)

We had a fantastic time exhibiting at the Retail Technology Show last week. It was great to catch up with existing customers, suppliers & partners in addition to showing our design & manufacturing capabilities to some of the best people in the industry and building new partnerships.

Thank you to Pixel Inspiration for joining the stand and bringing our new solutions to life and everyone who took the time to stop by, we had some really exciting conversations and are looking forward to many more in the near future.

Our Interactive Tables all incorporate multi-touch technology meaning they will recognise multiple points of contact at one time.

This is a beneficial feature for group settings such as nurseries and pre-school’s where multiple children will be sharing use of the table and collaborative play is encouraged.

Cooperative play is an important part of children’s long term social development, by participating in these types of shared activities children learn cooperation, communication, empathy, trust and conflict resolution.

They come in a variety of different designs/colours and are available to rent or purchase through Route 2 Education Technology.
