There we go... the big plan let slipped by a Alphabet senor tech. The social video platforms will begin charging a license fee to stream live and upload videos more than 1GB on YouTube. Some people about to get a shock. Add to this HMRC knowledge of channels making more than £1000 but not declaring it.... Ouch! They may need to save some money for legal fees!...

It seems some companies offering hosting are NOT on a dedicated IP address. If you suspect this we will do a free reverse IP check on one of their sites to see if they are indeed a dedicated server or shared cheap hosting and a list of sites. Don't get mugged !

We have been advised that the impending energy price rises that our costs for the Web services will be going up on 1st January 2027. Any client that wishes to avoid the price rise can forward pay where our supplier has given us assurance that all forward paid accounts will be honoured in 2027.

*Google Ad Management fees will increase on 1st Octover 2026 due to new levies put on partnered accounts. Unfortunately this seems to be a move by Google to take clients out of partnered approved accounts to their own in-house management. We feel this is a bad move for clients as the end game we feel is for Google to have unregulated power to to drastically increase ad revenue fir Alphabet/ Google. DONT FALL FOR IT.

**** STATUS UPDATE 15/9 9.56am.. The cPanel webmail issue is now fixed. :-)

***STATUS UPDATE 15/9 8.44am.
Our tech team have found the issue, a cPanel security update that was rolled out at 1.20pm yesterday (14/9) cPanel are working on a fix which will be rolled out as a patch shortly. Emails are unaffected, it's just the ability to login to webmail. Both IMAP and POP services working as normal. We apologise for any inconvenience.

****Update 14/9 6.58pm: We have been told an update on the cPanel framework has caused the issue with a security token missing in the update. Our supplier host is working with cPanel to put a fix in place. The problem has not effected any account that is configured on a email client or phone IMAP / POP. The issue only effects cPanel webmail login. We hope this will be fixed ASAP.

****Status Update 14/9 3.38pm: We currently have a problem for accounts accessing webmail. The technical team are on with this. Both IMAP and POP3 are working as normal.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of getting an AI generated website.... There seems to be lots of new businesses popping up offering very, very cheap websites. These tend to be AI or template systems where the people doing them don't know code whatsoever. If something breaks or does not work then its unlikely the people who supplied it could fix it...... We have had 3 customers who have contacted us in the last 10 days all with AI generated websites that are not working correctly or are not listed on search engines.... We have fixed all of these issues but 2 of them had to have the code re-written correctly! Unfortunately this has a cost. One of the customers was trying to contact the business that supplied the site and they were blocked !!!! Our advice....... "you pay peanuts you get monkey's" ....... Better to have no website than a bad website. AI has its uses but as proven also gets things badly wrong!

IMPORTANT******** We have been advised from our DEDICATED web and email servers supplier that technical support contracts are not to be renewed from 01/09/26. Due to this we have invested heavily to allow "Cloudflare Technical Services" to be our technical support supplier. Having our own dedicated servers (IP addresses) increases cost dramatically but ensures much better stability.
