We had a blast this last week at the Aesthetica Film Festival in York, exhibiting at the UNESCO City of Media Arts Expo ✨

We had a crazy amount of fun meeting hundreds of inspiring and diverse people from all walks of life and all corners of the world! The inspiration tank has been well and truly filled!

The opportunity to meet you all and share our stories, is something we cherished throughout the week and the blossoming of these new connections we’re excited to nurture.

And, as always, just so in love with York as a city and beautiful hub for thriving creativity and innovation. We’re so happy to be a part of this growing and supportive community ☀️

Here’s to the power of being inspired, and the joy and invigoration that inspiring each other has on the individual and the collective scale ✨

Thanks to for creating such a memorable and meaningful experience for York and beyond 🖤

Ps. Thank you to all of the filmmakers who bravely shared their creations and stories with us all!

And, here’s to next year’s 🎬

When coffee dreams come true…

Working with to design a coffee bean treasure map for a Limited Edition run of the Hario V60 Coffee Drippers was as fun as it looks!

There’s currently only 7 left in stock (ever!) so if you fancy bringing one of these home and enjoying that black coffee goodness, or you think it will make the perfect gift for a fellow coffee addict, head to website 🤘

Speaking of treasure maps, what treasure would you like to find at the end of your journey?

Seeing our crafted logos in action out in the world is a wonderful feeling!

Especially when it’s out there in Antarctica, amidst the wild icy oceans full of magical wildlife, and of course, a place for some of the world’s best diving! 🌊🤿

We loved the process of creating this expedition logo for our client, and watching its own journey unfold as it lives out in the world…

What are your favourite types of logos?

Have a great week folks! 🍂

Of all the designs we’ve produced this year - none have been more thrilling than producing the brand identity and label design for the inspiring folks - from heritage type all the way to hand drawn illustrations, it pushed our studio to produce its best work yet. Much of this comes down to the richness in their story, and the world class olive oil they produce in the wild lands of Portugal.

Every detail, from the cork bottle stop to the hand crafted bottle itself was considered, and the label had to balance the story in an authentic tribute, one that left room for the bottle to talk, but sung the brand’s story. Can’t wait to share more behind the scenes as we roll out a closer look at this design case study. And for all you lovers of fine goods and passionate cooks, head over and grab yourself a bottle whilst you can - there’s only a few thousand bottles produced in this first run.

Our design journey with the earth friendly Purified Footwear - who make the zero plastic and natural shoe- was a pure delight. We got to explore the story behind the sustainable process of making these unique and inspiring shoes and have fun playing with our ink style.

From plant to product and then back to the earth again - these shoes are biodegradable!

We focussed on capturing the functionality of the shoe, with our client brief offering a throwback to the origins of the sneaker movement. We got to lean into the functionality of trainers with these incredible modern methods that harness the power of natural materials to eliminate plastic entirely from their product.

There’s a softness and a flow to our illustrations to offer the sense of the natural world embedded within these beautifully practical shoes.

We loved this design process a hell of a lot!

Do you have a brand story you’d like to tell? Or perhaps a journey you’d like us to illustrate?

This summer has marked a significant point for us; it’s the summer of weddings of our nearest & dearest; we also enjoyed summer in NZ whilst the UK experienced winter, so we feel like we’ve cheated a little; and because after living in those magical mountains, followed by a couple months in Sydney, Greece & Portugal, we always knew this summer was coming. All the excitement and planning. And, some resistance to it’s arrival - a feeling of, ‘can’t May just carry on for longer so that I have more time to be here/to finish this/see this/make this/plan this etc’.
That bittersweet feeling of being excited for what’s next but equally not wanting what’s next to come yet because it marks the end of something big. And equally, new beginnings.
It’s been a big year packed with travel, dream-come-true work opportunities, personal and professional growth, family celebrations, and new journeys and big decisions etc. A healthy blend of soaring highs and the inevitable lows and challenges that come with anything worth doing.
The last 12 months have abundantly overflowed with LIFE and we’ve been lucky enough to spend time with so many loved ones and forge meaningful and inspiring work connections. It’s been wild 🖤🤘
So, truth be told, we both experienced something like burn out when we arrived back in the UK. A feeling of heartbreak as we hit pause on certain parts of ourselves and (momentarily) say goodbye to our other homeland down under. There’s been the inevitable ‘come down’ after any big adventure(s). We truly filled our cups to the brim.

But, some other wells were running a little dry. We’ve both been craving our own ‘winter’ - a quiet time to reflect and dive deep into the creations and the work. You know the feeling?
Our soil was in need of nutrients, more tending to. We needed to take a moment to restore and recalibrate.
(We’re still working on this, of course. It’s a practise we’re trying to not be perfectionist about 😅)

We’re diving in to this next phase, which for us, is all about the deep deep creations…🌙

Wherever YOU are, I hope you can find the beauty in the highs and lows of your tides…🌗

We cannot tell you how excited we are to be working with one of our favourite clients, , on this eight-pack of IPAs, which tells the story of 300 years of epic brewing history.

And we couldn’t help but share the first label design with you!

We combined classic ink-work with vibrant colour to tell the story of this 1754 IPA - evoking the wild and dangerous journey across the vast ocean which could only mean one thing - an encounter with the mighty cracken! Let’s just say, if the cracken ever attacks us, we’ll be going down with one of these beers in hand.

Stay tuned to see the rest of the designs and be sure to check out and their beautiful craftsmanship as they craft these special beers.

What do you think? We hope you love the design as much as we do!

Here’s to a wonderful week ☀️

Big love, T & A x

Ps. Do you love beer labels as much as the beer?
