Warning to our friends, family and business associates: We are seeing the biggest surge in email deployed viruses we've seen for some time. This has been the case all week.

I imagine this is only going to get worse as we get closer to Christmas. Expect to see "invoice" type emails, and alleged problems with your Amazon/eBay/Paypal account, or deliveries from UPS, DHL etc.

Typically these are coming through as Microsoft Word "doc" files, Word "docm" Macro-enabled files, or ZIP files containing said doc files.

Please be VERY careful opening any attachments and consider carefully if this is legitimate or not.

If you are not expecting the email, do NOT open any attachments. **Even if it's from someone you know** or a supplier you use, and especially if you can see they are doc files.

Please do make sure you have a good AntiVirus installed and it is up to date!
