📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Changes to EB IT Support Pricing & Services! 📢

As we continue to grow, we are updating our service structure so we can process your workshop repairs faster than ever, while still offering dedicated onsite help! 🛠️💻

⏳ Please note: The following changes will apply to all appointments booked on or after 1st July 2026.

Here is what you need to know:

🗺️ Goodbye 3-Zone System: We are retiring our previous A, B, and C Zones in favor of a simpler, more transparent pricing system.

💻 Workshop & Remote Support: £55.00

🚗 Home Visits: £79.99 (This covers the callout and your first 5 miles of travel).

🛣️ Additional Mileage: Extra miles beyond the initial 5 miles are charged at £1.50 per mile (charged both ways). Please note: Mileage is always charged for home visits to cover travel expenses, even during 'no fix' or no labour cost appointments.

🗓️ New Onsite Schedule: To help us prioritize faster workshop turnaround times, Home Visits will now be strictly limited to Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Workshop & Repairs: Get hands-on with PC and laptop hardware diagnostics and fixes.

Customer Support: Handle helpdesk tickets and provide first-line remote support.

On-Site Experience: Shadow our engineers on callouts to customer premises.

Professional Growth: Report directly to our Volunteer Helpdesk Manager and Company Director.

The Perks:
On-Site Travel: We reimburse travel expenses up to £25.00 specifically for joining our engineers on customer callouts.

Earn While You Learn: Discretionary £5.00 goodwill payments for resolved repair tickets.

We Almost got Phished!

Even we see them! We just received a very convincing email impersonating a member of our staff. Luckily, we follow our own advice.

Scammers are getting better at mimicking business domains, but you can beat them by staying calm and checking the details.

Quick Checklist:

Just to let our customers know that since moving into our office at Boston Enterprise Centre, our monthly drop-in clinics (previously held on the first Thursday of each month) are no longer taking place — as we’re now available every weekday instead.

We’re usually at the office Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm for all your IT needs, advice, and support.
Please give us a call before popping in, as our team may occasionally be out on customer callouts.
