Great Minds Therapy & Training, part of the TCES Group, required a dedicated online presence as the service evolved into its own standalone offering. Having previously integrated Great Minds within the TCES National Online School website, this next phase marked an important step in establishing its independent identity.

Collab with !

A new website Croydon Commitment. This was a really enjoyable one to work on. The goal was to create something bold, modern and ready for the next phase of the charities journey. I worked alongside Micca Marketing, who led on content and strategy, while I handled the design and build.

One of the biggest improvements was rethinking how content worked. The old events calendar felt clunky and often left the site feeling empty. We replaced it with a combined news and events feed, with filters for news, events and volunteering opportunities, which keeps things much more dynamic. We also introduced a stronger focus on their key projects, added galleries, larger testimonial sections and made sure there are clear calls to action throughout the site.

Besides the pretty visuals, a number of key technical improvements were made, these included:

✔️ 31 installed plugins reduced to 9 (this might be a record! 🏅).
✔️ Google PageSpeed for Accessible on Mobiles increased from and 78 to 90.
✔️ Google PageSpeed for SEO increased from 69 to 90 (Mobiles and Desktops).

Really happy with how this one turned out. It feels like a big step forward for them.

"Less rebuild, more rethink"

Recently wrapped up a project for TCES Group (The Complete Education Solution) where I helped rebuild their group website. The original plan was simple. Move the existing site onto WordPress so their team could actually manage and update it without the usual headaches. But as we got into it, it became clear there was an opportunity to do more than just rebuild.

We reworked the structure, simplified the content, and created a new way of presenting their schools and services to better support their future plans. What started as a quick win turned into a much more considered redesign.
The end result is a site that is easier to manage, more engaging to use, and set up to grow with them.

Always a good reminder that sometimes the best projects are the ones that evolve as you go!

If you are dealing with a site that feels difficult to manage or outdated, it might be worth stepping back before jumping into a rebuild.

I cant believe this was launched a year ago! This was my only my second website since going freelance in late 2024. SurreyFE is a collaborative initiative launched by four Surrey colleges in the area to enhance skills and training.

I recently completed a website for Right's Units. A family run company who have been trading for an amazing 38 years! They manufacture, supply and fit a range of doors, windows, conservatories, fascias & soffits all from their Watford showroom and factory. They also boast the largest showroom in the area!

The site they had was a little tired, at least 8 years old, it wasn't generating the impact they required and didn't showcase the full range of products they now offer. With their new site, I reworked the site map and added some key features:

✔️ splitting doors and windows by product and material
✔️ products display relevant materials with a link through
✔️ materials display relevant products with a link through
✔️ brochures uploaded in one central place and tagged to dynamically display on relevant products
✔️ product and materials pages templated making text and images changes a super easy
✔️ straightforward to add new products

Along with all this, the basics were covered, accessibility, local and on page seo, responsiveness, embedded google reviews

A new website for Fairer Housing CIC. Issues with access to the previous site led them to needing it recreated on a more accessible platform.

The brief was to recreate what they had previously, but after reviewing it I highlighted a few things which should be sorted. This is a website that has a large multicultural audience, with various backgrounds and ethnicities, it was missing some really essential items.

Things I added to this site included:

✔️ A floating accessibility bar (allowing text size, contrast changes, dark mode, greyscale and other useful tools)
✔️ Translation options (which auto translation based on browser language)
✔️ Made sure all text and colours pass accessibility checks
✔️ A privacy and Cookies policy
✔️ An accessibility statement
