Iâve been supporting Hughes Paddison for about the past 5 years now. Sharing their limitless knowledge about the law and how it can affect our lives.
Theyâre super talented, conscientious, eloquent, knowledgeable true experts - really at the top of their game. But more than that, theyâre also a friendly, supportive and caring bunch of people. They know how important their work is and the difference they can make to their clients, when theyâre facing a tough time in their lives.
All the work that they do, all the talent they have and the difference they make is a lot to try and communicate, especially when theyâre all so busy supporting their clients. So, Iâm hoping weâll be seeing and hearing more from them after their training workshops.
What Iâve learned recently, whilst delivering these workshops is that many people have negative preconceptions of social media, that itâs inherently bad, doom scrolling lowers your mood, comparison results in increased anxiety, and I agree, used the wrong way it can have all of those affects, Iâve been there and got the t-shirt.
But itâs just a tool.
If weâre in control of how we use it, if we choose why weâre using it and what for, if we limit how much time weâre on it and when, all of these things puts us back in the driving seat.
Then we can start thinking about what the possibilities are?
What do we want to learn?
Who we can follow and why.
Whatâs lacking that we want more of?
What inspires us?
Where do we want to go next?
Who do we want to connect with?
Who do we want to attract and why?
Social media is just the communication vehicle, what is shared and how comes down to us.
I loved delivering these bespoke training sessions, they were short but hopefully sweet and also useful and relevant just to them.
Iâm delivering more and more training sessions recently, people want to understand how to use all the tech for their benefit. We want to relinquish our power over the robots and the AI! If youâre interested and n some bespoke training for yourself or your team, drop me a DM.
Is social media bad?
Is it in control of us?
Iâd love to hear what you think.
