Dementia doesn’t take time off. Neither does the support people need. 💙

This World Alzheimer’s Month, we’re supporting Dementia UK in reminding anyone affected by dementia that help is there when they need it.

From diagnosis to changing symptoms and difficult days, Dementia UK’s specialist Admiral Nurses provide expert support to families by phone, online and in communities.

We’re proud to support Dementia UK throughout the year and help raise awareness of the difference their work makes.

100 miles. 10+ hours. Nine riders. Two support crew. One incredible achievement.

Last Thursday, our team completed the Open GI Charity Bike Ride, raising an amazing £2,383 for Dementia UK.

A huge well done to everyone who took on the challenge, and a massive thank you to everyone who donated, supported the team and cheered them on along the way.

🚴‍♀️ Ready, set, cycle!

Our annual charity cycle is back - and this year, we’re pedalling for a brilliant cause. 💙

On 10 September, members of the Open GI team will be swapping keyboards for handlebars and taking on up to 100 miles to raise money for Dementia UK.

It’s a chance to get together, get active and, hopefully, rack up a few more miles than sore legs along the way! 😅

Most importantly, we’re raising money to support Dementia UK’s incredible Admiral Nurses, who provide specialist support to families living with dementia.

Colleagues enjoyed a selection of delicious samosas, pakoras, and traditional Indian sweets, while taking a moment to learn more about the Sikh festival and its significance.
