🔍 Sage CRM – A Glimmer of Momentum?

Over the past few years, Sage CRM has felt a little… stagnant when it comes to new features and innovation. For those of us who live and breathe CRM customisation and integration, it sometimes felt like Sage CRM had been put on the back burner.

But credit where it’s due — things are starting to move.

The newly published Sage CRM roadmap through 2027 looks much more promising. Highlights include:

✅ 2025: Improved web hooks, streamlined user interface, email scheduling, and more control over software deployment
✅ 2026: WhatsApp integration, charting improvements, and client-side script refactoring
✅ 2027: Support for Sage ID, SSO, MFA, and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) — big steps for enterprise-ready deployments
✅ Continued REST API enhancements throughout

It’s also great to see ongoing investment in mobile UX, reporting, and security — all things we’ve needed for a while.

Here’s hoping Sage keeps the momentum going. The ecosystem (and its loyal user base) deserves it.
