Elekit TU-8888 Monoblock Push-pull Power Amp kit

Sold as a pair, they provide a truly dynamic and detailed sound with a serious kick with enough power to drive any loudspeaker out there. As with all Elekits, the design is amazing, and construction is straightforward, following their pictorial formatted instructions.

The TU-8888 is compatible with medium-sized tubes like the 6550, KT88, KT90 and larger output tubes such as the KT120, KT150 and KT170 (with a maximum anode dissipation of approximately 35W or higher), allowing you to explore variations in sound quality. Using a pair of KT170 will deliver 60Ws RMS.

It features the high-end LL3733, specifically designed and manufactured by the highly regarded Swedish firm Lundahl Transformers.

ScanSpeak D2606, 922000 Tweeter - Discovery Range

The D2606/922000 is a 1" coated textile dome tweeter from Scanspeak's Discovery range, a series that brings Scan-Speak's Danish engineering to an accessible price point. A damped double rear chamber lowers resonance to 850 Hz, allowing a crossover point as low as 2.5 kHz. Low-damping ferrofluid in the voice coil gap provides cooling and thermal stability without dulling transient response.

With 91.5 dB sensitivity, 100 W power handling and a neutral 104 mm faceplate, it suits new two-way builds and is a direct replacement for the Vifa D27TG-35-06, including in several PMC monitors.

We’re now stocking Staccato’s Open Sound Hybrid discrete op-amps for audio equipment such as DACs and preamplifiers. Their design uses JFETs in both the input and output stages, a high bias current, and a source-follower output stage with an active current source. Staccato says this gives them low open-loop distortion, predominantly second harmonic.

There’s a single op-amp and three dual versions. The dual modules offer different shapes to suit the space around a socket: one has a smaller footprint, another offers improved heat dissipation, and the vertical version provides a further fitting option.

We’ve also added six Staccato-branded adaptors for different socket arrangements. Check the individual listing before ordering: four of the adaptors are for conventional IC op-amps and cannot be used with Staccato modules.
