The new Avalon BT2 Unity Gain Preamp is now being made to order here at Bigbottle Audio
Designed to provide the most unmolested signal attenuation possible. Using state of the art operation amplifiers, we have created a dual buffer (per channel) system that removes ANY impedance mismatch from source to amplifier. We have tested with OTL amps, Valve amps, Class A, A/B, D, G, H amps and we are convinced that there is no combination of source or amplifier that the BT2 does not successfully work with.
Our custom made stepped attenuator is channel matched to 0.01%.....it's accuracy and build quality is directly responsible for the most stable and vivid soundstage and imaging we have heard.
We are immensely proud of this unit.
No.1 and No.2 are on test and will be send out shortly to the first customers after the finishing touches are applied. No.3 and No.4 will follow shortly(.....I know you are reading fellas 😉)
