Why we launched the WHMCS Module Shop
As you may of seen today No Half Pixels renamed, rebranded and re released our WHMCS Module devision under the new entity WHMCS Module Shop (https://whmcsmoduleshop.com).
The WHMCS Module Shop is a dedicated WHMCS site offering WHMCS Modules, Themes and Services.
Behind the new name it is the same people, the same great modules and the same ethos ... To provide great unique modules for WHMCS.
We decided to split the WHMCS part of our business for a few reasons.
1. It provides a significant portion of our income and client base, the rewards it provides us earn the right to be its own entity.
2. While we are a very popular WHMCS module, theme and service provider, new client acquisition is harder selling a "company" that sells WHMCS modules over a dedicated WHMCS module provider.
3. Marketing, SEO and association. Its much easier to reach new audiences, provide a search friendly website, and associate ourselves with WHMCS modules if our website "has it in the name".
4. Our business scope is widening. No Half Pixels is a software development company specialising in all things PHP (WordPress, WHMCS, Laravel, etc). However we are expanding into new markets such as SASS applications, App development and SPAs. In order to maintain focus and a clear business direction a dedicated module shop is the perfect solution.
Why now?
Well our WHMCS business is always growing, there hasn’t been and likely will never be a slow period to focus on a dedicated setup.
We did however have a needed infrastructure upgrade which needed to be done right now. So we thought it best to do it all in one go minimising downtime.
Whats changed?
Well right now, nothing.
We have a snazzy new logo, new domain and a small design update.
Its small as we understand this post and other change notifications aren’t going to reach every user of our site. So we consciously kept the site familiar to ease the transition.
You will see a little news banner across the top of our site for some time so we are sure everyone got the message.
For existing clients nothing has changed, your billing agreements, accounts, services and license are safe, our old domain will continue to provide license validation until we release our new dedicated WHMCS Module Shop Module (more on than another time). And any new services or payments will be made through the new domain just as before.
Whats Coming?
As eluded to above, we have a few things coming which we think will really excite a lot of WHMCS users including our current client base. These ideas and service will be coming over the next few months, if you want to stay updated just follow this page, or signup to our newsletter.
