Ps3 done tonight. I don't like doing them anymore as they not worth the work but customer wanted it done and was willing to pay. Full service and a new battery

Ps4 slim in today needed a new hard drive a full service and needed repair to the disc drive. Console now fully up and working with no issues. Also ha e a xbox one og no display and a ps4 og with busted hdmi port to do and a ps5 in later for intermittent power

Xbox one s in tonight with a broken port. Both legs had snapped either side and luckily for the customer 18 pins snapped the solder so only pin 19 lost its pad. Rebuilt pad and added a new port and console works again

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas I am now back open until next Christmas. I expect to not see anyone for a while with majority getting new consoles but we all know what kids are like.

2x xbox one s in last night . One was intermittent display then no display. Replaced retimer chip with a redriver and now we have display back again. Second xbox one s was a power on power off. Although there was no short on the 12v rail we did indeed have a mosfet on that rail causing the issue. Replaced that to then get power. Unfortunately this also had a bad retimer chip causing no display so will replace that and will have display again. Both consoles also have faulty hard drives

Ps5 in for hdmi port

Had a xbox one s in last night for black screen. Console would stay powered on until it was turned off. On inspection I found the hard drive was bad thought that's a nice easy fix. Reformatted a new hard drive and put into the xbox still had a black screen. Checked HDMI port and all was good so replaced the retimer and now we have display again

Xbox one x done last night. New redriver and display is back again. Done straight away as customer had travelled to bring to me so didn't want him having to go all the way home to come back again
