acp-computing & CCTV installations retires on Friday, my 66th birthday.
I started to wind down the CCTV part of the business after my back op in January and decided in September it was time to stop on my birthday.
I’ve been in computing since 2005 and acp-computing full time since 2011.
I never wanted to grow it beyond my own capabilities, I never wanted to employ anyone else although I have had work experience people with me and elicited help from others if I had a big job on.
I was happy working for myself, taking on the jobs I enjoyed.
My database of customers topped 400 and I’ve done over 4000 invoices.
Some of my customers I’ve kept since 2005 and always managed to find new ones.
Even in the early days I never started a week with no work on,it always seemed to find me for which I will be ever grateful.
I initially started the business when I needed a second job to pay tuition fees for my daughter to go to uni, it took off from there.
To all my customers past and present, I say thank you for putting your trust in me but from Friday that’s it, I’m off!!
