This one is a little bit special for us!

This week, Fubhub celebrates its 10th birthday, and there’s quite a story behind those ten years.

Fubhub was founded by Sue France back in 2016, with the support of our very own Jackie Salt. Fubhub was set up to create a welcoming, supportive network where women in business could come together, make connections and help one another.

Ten years later, Fubhub has grown into a fantastic community across Wigan and Leigh, creating countless introductions, collaborations, opportunities and friendships along the way.

But there’s another reason this milestone feels particularly personal to us at ATTAIN.

Five years ago, Sue also became part of the ATTAIN team so these days, Fubhub and ATTAIN are very closely connected!

Over the years we've supported Fubhub with its digital presence, events and campaigns, watched new businesses and relationships develop through the network and, together with Professionals of Wigan, gone on to establish Wigan Borough Business Awards.

But at the heart of Fubhub has always been the same thing and that’s people supporting people.

We’re incredibly proud of Sue and everything she has built over the last decade, and equally proud that Jackie has been there alongside her from the very beginning.

On 14th October, we'll be celebrating ten years of Fubhub at The Brick Community Stadium with many of the people who have been part of the journey.

And we think that deserves a very big celebration. 🥂

Some projects become much more than just another project!

As co-founders and Digital Partner of Wigan Borough Business Awards, it's fair to say this is one that the ATTAIN team puts its heart and soul into every year.

Why? Because we genuinely love celebrating the businesses and people doing brilliant things across Wigan and Leigh.

Try asking:
