📢 Global Invacom Brings Prodelin Antennas to Middle East and North Africa with MEconnect and Mena Nets

We are excited to be working with both MEconnect and Mena Nets FZE to bring the MENA market high value bundles of Prodelin and Skyware SMC antennas, alongside our innovative RF electronics. This news follows the recent agreement between Premix-Hadlock Composites LLC and Global Invacom for representation of Prodelin (formerly CPI) antennas, as well as the recently announced agreement with VIKING SATCOM, Inc. to cover the Americas.

Our CCO, Craig Bowley, commented: “MEconnect and Mena Nets FZE are both highly respected organisations with extensive reach, strong technical expertise, and deep relationships throughout the region. Together, they are ideally positioned to bring the benefits of Global Invacom’s antenna portfolio, alongside our innovative RF electronics, to a wider customer base. We look forward to working closely with both partners to support growth and deliver greater value across this important market.”

While there’s little doubt cloud has the potential to support operators and integrators to increase efficiency, flexibility, and enable cost-effective scaling, there’s one crucial piece of the puzzle that’s not getting the attention it deserves: the hardware layer. Some core ground equipment has to stay physical and needs to be modernised to be configurable, flexible, and modular.

In this article for Satnow, our CCO, Craig Bowley, discussed the shift to virtualised software-based networks and why it is important not to overlook the physical layer.

🏆 We have been nominated! 🏆

Our latest innovations have been nominated in the BroadcastPro Middle East Manufacturer Awards and voting is now open!

📡 Our XY Antenna has been shortlisted for Best Satellite Antenna Technology. Our rapid‑deploy XY antenna terminals are designed to deliver fast, reliable multi‑orbit and multi‑band connectivity in the most demanding operational environments.

📡 Our XRJ transceiver is in the running for Best Next-Gen Satellite Application. The XRJ is a breakthrough in cutting-edge VSAT engineering. Crucially it combines the transmit and receive functionality of a BUC, LNB, OMT, and Feed, all integrated into a compact single device. This greatly improves both RF performance and SWaP-C.

We would very much appreciate your vote: https://lnkd.in/d8XXuQ9Z

They are often overlooked, yet a pivotal component across multiple industries and technologies. Waveguides are the arteries of systems that use electromagnetic waves. Imagine that you are at one end of a hallway and you shout. The hallway walls ensure that your voice travels in the same direction and reaches the end of the hallway. Essentially, this is what a waveguide does.

Waveguides are specialised structures that direct electromagnetic waves from one point to another. They ensure minimal signal loss at high frequencies, making them ideal for the transmission end of satellite uplinks and downlinks, as well as being widely used for radar applications.

In our latest blog post, we deep dive into what they are, why they are important, and when you would use one.
