Hi all, hope your having a good evening painting/playing games or whatever it is you do on a friday evening.
So just thought i would give yous all a little bit of info.
As some of you know, recently we have been trying different resins from different companies to try and get something a little better than what we had been using for years.
Initially we really liked the navy blue resin and was our main resin for a long time. But even though the models were turning out really nice, we noticed that they were fairly brittle.
So afet speaking to a few people and a new friend contacting us, we aquired quite a few bottles of Resione M58.
The resin quality jumped up through the hoop and landed squarely on its feet. It was a great resin.
However after about using 40 bottles we were finding that our machines just didnt like it. Sometimes we were getting full fails right over the board or half plate fails here and their. Even though we tried many different settings it just wasnt working right.
Also, on top of that, Resione customer service was terrible, sending us the wrong colour resin, then only partially refunding us and ignoring and further requests then offering us discounts that were higher than the prices on their website, it seemed a bit of a waste of time.
So, we decided to try a few other resins. Phrozon...bad spelling i know. Siraye tech, cheap resing, water washable resins and a few others but sadly after using the M58 they just werent as good quality.
So all this has led us to things been slowing our orders down, which is a pain fo everyone.
So, were going to try the M58 again and see if we can sort the issues out. However this also means another slowdown on orders.
So, thats where things are are at. We are hoping to be back up to a 2 week order turnaround by the end of this month. Especially with Christmas coming up.
Anyhoo, if you have any questions about orders or advice on using the M58, then do give us a chat.
Speak soon.
Dave.
