♻️ Did you know, tumble dryer legislation is changing very soon? ♻️

As of January 2027, new vented and condenser tumble dryers will no longer be placed on the Great British market for consumer purchasing.

Instead, heat pump tumble dryers will be available which have much greater energy efficiency.

As we reach the end of summer, if you’re thinking of replacing your tumble dryer but would rather stick to a traditional vented or condenser variation, please make sure you secure your orders sooner rather than later.🕒

🌞🎨 Boredom buster for the summer holidays! 🎨🌞

Got children at home who are starting to run out of things to do? Why not get their creative juices flowing and enter the Wem Christmas Festival 2026 Logo Competition! 🎄✨

Children can use the Christmas tree outline provided to create their very own colourful festival logo. They can use colouring pencils, crayons, felt-tip pens or paint — and let their imagination run wild! 🌈🖍️🎨

🏆 The winning design will become the official logo for the Wem Christmas Festival 2026!

📅 Entries must be returned to Wem Library by 26th September 2026.
