WHO WANTS OUR LAST 2026 SLOT?

Our diary for the rest of the year is almost full, with just one bookable week remaining (7th December).

So, if a freshly hand-painted kitchen is on your wish list before Christmas, this is your last opportunity to get it booked in for 2026!

We are also now taking bookings for 2027, from the week commencing 4th January onwards.

If you’ve been thinking about transforming your kitchen, it’s never too early to get your preferred week in the diary.

A BARN KITCHEN WITH PERSONALITY 💙

Our latest kitchen transformation took us to this beautiful barn conversion, owned by the wonderfully stylish Norma. At 80 years young, she has such a fantastic eye for colour, if I have half as much flair and character at her age, I’ll be delighted!

Previously white, her kitchen cabinetry has now been hand painted in Bone China Blue. It’s been one of our most popular colour choices this year, and it works beautifully alongside Norma’s colourful accessories, warm wooden worktops and the character of the barn.

The result feels fresh and bright whilst still looking completely at home in this space, and, most importantly, it suits Norma perfectly.

If your kitchen is still in good condition but the colour no longer excites you, you may not need to replace it. Our hand painted kitchen transformations can give your existing cabinetry a completely new look, with far less disruption than fitting a new kitchen and at a fraction of the cost.

What a difference a change of colour can make!

This kitchen has been given a completely new lease of life with a professional repaint in beautiful Bone China Blue.

The existing cabinetry was still in great condition, so rather than replacing it, we transformed it, creating a much lighter, fresher feel while working beautifully with the existing worktops and tiles.

Same kitchen. Fresh new look. ✨

A FRESH START FOR THIS KITCHEN 🩵

We recently gave this kitchen a completely new look, transforming all of the cabinetry from dark grey to the beautiful Bone China Blue.

The soft blue works wonderfully with the existing patterned tiles and dark worktops, whilst the new brushed nickel handles add the perfect finishing touch.

It’s a lovely example of how professional painting can transform a kitchen without the expense, disruption and waste of replacing perfectly good cabinetry.

TOO LOVELY NOT TO SHARE 🤍

We’ve been a little behind on sharing some of our projects, this lovely one dates back to June!

Our clients entrusted us with a beautiful pair of solid wood console tables positioned beside their fireplace. Over time, the original topcoat had begun to yellow, so we gave them a fresh, more natural look to complement their modern home.

The bases were painted in Slaked Lime for a soft, neutral finish, whilst the tops were stripped back to reveal the natural wood beneath and protected with a clear wax. New pewter cup handles provided the perfect finishing touch.

This is one of a matching pair, with its twin sitting on the opposite side of the fireplace.

RESTORED FOR MEMORIES YET TO COME

This merchant's chest of drawers belonged to our client's late mother and holds a special place in the family's story. As a baby, our client was changed and dressed on its top, and she hopes to continue that tradition with her own children one day.

The chest arrived in need of some serious TLC, with broken drawers, missing runners, stains, and heavily aged orange varnish. After careful repairs, stripping, and a clear wax finish, it's been given a new lease of life while preserving all of its character.

Sometimes the most meaningful pieces are the ones that stay in the family. ✨

This chest of drawers has been given a fresh new look in Rolling Fog Light, a beautifully soft neutral that works effortlessly in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

SAVED... NOT REPLACED 🩶

This week has been all about furniture transformations in the workshop, and this sideboard is one of four beautiful pieces we've had the pleasure of working on.

Made from pine, it originally served as a small dresser in a family-run butcher's shop, displaying jarred goods and produce for customers. Over time the finish had yellowed and the piece was showing its age.

With its Dark Lead finish, stripped and waxed top, and new hardware, this once-tired piece is ready for many more years of use.

There's something incredibly rewarding about preserving a piece of family history whilst making it suitable for modern living.
