🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ We’re lacing up for The Amazing Northampton Run

This September, Team Dufeu IT will be taking on the half marathon to support a cause that means a lot to us - the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS).

Michelle and Greg are tackling the full half marathon, while Iannick, Julie-Ann and Finley are teaming up for the relay 💪

We’re raising awareness of axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) - a long-term inflammatory condition that can have a huge impact on daily life - and supporting the incredible work NASS does for those living with it.

We had a brilliant day visiting Irchester Community Primary School for their Ambitions Day.

Adam and Matt were on hand to represent Dufeu IT, giving pupils a hands-on look at what goes on inside a laptop - breaking it down so they could see how everything works and how the different components come together.

It was fantastic to see so much curiosity and engagement from the children, with lots of great questions throughout the day.

A big thank you to the school for having us and for organising such a valuable event - giving pupils the chance to explore different careers and start thinking about their own ambitions.

A little Easter fun at the Dufeu IT office on Thursday...

Who knew the team could turn into expert detectives when chocolate is involved?

We hid chocolate lollies in increasingly questionable places before finishing with an Easter quiz where the competition was fierce, and the prizes were, of course, easter eggs. 😋

Plenty of laughs, plenty of chocolate, and absolutely no regrets. 🐣🍫

Another day, another event for Julie‑ann!

Yesterday she attended Wellingborough School’s Apprenticeship Evening, where she enjoyed chatting with students about the different routes they can take after GCSEs and A‑levels.

With 150 families signed up and representatives from over 20 organisations, it was a busy evening and a brilliant opportunity for students to get a real insight into what an apprenticeship actually involves - how it works day‑to‑day, the skills they can develop, and where to find the right support and guidance.

Julie‑ann talked through how we train apprentices here at Dufeu IT, including:

- hands‑on learning from day one
- real project experience
- ongoing mentoring from our team leads
- structured training with our providers

She also covered the types of roles we offer - from IT support to cybersecurity - and how students can apply if they’re thinking about a future in tech.

A huge thank you to Wellingborough School for hosting another fantastic event and to all the students who came to chat. It’s always great to see so much enthusiasm for starting a career in IT.
