I had two iPhone 7s in for a battery replacement today. If you have an iPhone, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health

Your iPhone should retain up to 80 percent of its original battery capacity after 500 complete charge cycles. Once the battery health percentage drops below 80 percent, the amount of charge your battery can hold starts to diminish.

If you feel like your phone uses up battery really fast or you’re constantly having to charge it, get in touch & I’ll replace your battery. Between £30 - £55 depending on the model & it’ll be like new again.

Battery replacement on an iPhone 5 for Sue Thompson

As you can see from the picture, the original battery from 2013 was running at 66% capacity after 169 charging cycles, 945mAH compared to 1430mAH when it was new.

It’s running at full capacity again now 👍🏼

How did I back the contacts up from an unresponsive phone?

Rescued a local businessman’s Samsung S8 from the brink of death, with a new display assembly & rear glass replacement.

Included in this repair was free use of a courtesy phone whilst waiting for parts & a free back up of all contacts which were transferred to the courtesy phone, so the customer could carry on running his business with no down time.

I used a USB-C to HDMI & USB adapter to back up the phone, which showed me the display on a monitor & I could control touch with a USB mouse. I could have backed up by plugging into a PC however the phone was locked and unresponsive with no way to unlock.

The phone now works as good as new with a new Samsung AMOLED panel and rear glass pressed with the correct adhesive, plus my customer lost no money from down time ✅
