Responsibility Centre Issue in Business Central
A user encountered an issue after deleting a Responsibility Centre that was no longer in use. However, some existing Sales Orders still had that Responsibility Centre assigned.
When opening the Sales Order List, they could only see orders that still had a Responsibility Centre assigned. This happened due to a TableView filter being applied, which restricted visibility to only those orders with a Responsibility Centre.
Why does this happen?
Even if a Responsibility Centre is deleted, its reference remains in the Company Information setup. This can lead to unexpected filtering behavior in lists and transactions.
Solution:
✔️ Ensure that you remove the Responsibility Centre reference from Company Information before deleting it.
✔️ Check for any applied TableView filters in the Sales Order List and adjust them accordingly.
