Back in Feb I was briefed to design an outdoor installation that would bring some of the National Portrait Gallery’s portraits to life in a striking way on the streets of London’s West End. Today I am proud to unveil ‘Art Reframed’, a 3D aerial installation spanning Coventry Street and Irving Street either side of Leicester Square, one of London’s biggest outdoor art installations hanging 52 3D cubes showcasing iconic portraits to celebrate the National Portrait Gallery’s grand reopening. It was unveiled today by talented actor and art lover Russell Tovey and is live for over a month. It’s been a massive effort from the whole team to bring this to life and the results make the London skies brighter and more cultured.
