Can anyone tell me when the traffic lights on Farmers Lane will be finally removed, not a single person has been working on that stretch of roadway since before Christmas.

PC Workshop were called out to a business in Padgate. Their main computer has crashed and they feared they'd lost all the work as there was no back-up system in place.

PC Workshop Warrington called round within the hour and firstly explained that there was a 99% probability that her data would be saved and so allay her fears that all her work was going down the drain. We removed her computer tower back to our secure premises and promised to phone her as soon as we had a definitive result (within the hour).

Here at PC Workshop we have the programmes and experience to perform Data Recovery from a gamut of situations including accidentally deleted files (even after emptying Recycle Bin), accidentally formatting a drive, and drive errors (including when Windows tells you "The drive is not formatted, do you want to format it now?", when you known perfectly well the drive is formatted, and contains precious data. PC Workshop has a similar product for Mac users as well.

We phoned the lady 45 minutes after leaving her office to give her the good news that all could be recovered and she would be up and running the following day. She was ecstatic and insisted that we install an automatic back up system to safeguard her priceless data.

PC Workshop has many means at its disposal to retrieve data, photographs etc. and will always strive to help a customer to recover what at first may seem a lost cause.

PC Workshop has seen all sorts of Mac problems over the last few years, but the one we tend to see quite often is listed today which in certain cases is the most worrying as it wont allow users to retrieve data!

A flashing folder with a question mark at startup time means that the machine cannot find a valid boot volume.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that the hardware is broken; it may just be that the contents of the internal drive has become corrupt or erased.

One way to restore it is to use the recovery partition, if its still viable if not then we can still probably recover your data.

If you have an external USB hard drive with a bootable copy of Mac OS X on it (e.g., a backup that you created with a cloning program), you might try booting from it.

Contact PC Workshop we will in most instances recover your data and restore your Mac back to perfect working order!!

In fact when we’ve finished it will be more efficient and faster than ever!!!

I'm only a one man band running a small repair shop from our converted garage but if you've issues with your laptop or macbook etc. give me a ring as I understand just how important a life line they are especially at this time.
I will do my utmost to turn around your trusted equipment a.s.a.p. usually within 24 hours to help keep you either employed or the ability to keep in touch with family and friends which is paramount in these uncertain days and weeks ahead.
All I ask is before you drop it in is please give it a wipe over with a bacterial cloth to ensure my health as much as yours.
