Creativity, inclusion and purposeful technology use are at the heart of our Professional Learning team’s work. We’re delighted to celebrate Liam Buggs, James Fraser, Henry Penfold, Sophie Moore and Tim Barette becoming Canva Education Certified Trainers! 🎉

Canva can help teachers explain ideas visually, facilitate collaboration and give pupils creative ways to demonstrate their understanding. Thoughtful use can also support inclusion through accessible resources, visual scaffolds and different ways to participate, including for learners with SEND.

Our team helps educators connect these possibilities to their curriculum and classroom practice, building confidence while making effective use of teachers’ time.

What does social value actually mean?

For our People team, it’s about creating opportunities for our people to make a positive difference beyond their day-to-day work.

Everyone at eduthing gets five paid volunteering days each year, giving them the time to support causes and communities that matter to them.

This year, we’re really pleased to build on this through our new partnership with Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. 💛

After a moving visit to our HQ, we knew this was a charity we wanted to get behind.

We’ve got lots planned over the coming months, and I’m really looking forward to seeing our team get involved, give something back and make a difference together.

Because social value is about more than what we do at work. It’s about the difference we can make beyond it, too. 💙

We made it through September! 🎉

To celebrate making it through (almost!) our busiest month of the academic year, we got the team together for some well-earned time to relax, have fun and enjoy each other’s company.

A little friendly competition never hurt…

It was a great chance to step away from the day-to-day, spend some time together and celebrate everything the team has achieved during a busy start to the year.

Because after a busy month, a bit of fun with the team is definitely deserved! 💙

Meet Henry 👋

We’re delighted to welcome Henry to the EdTech team at Eduthing.

Henry brings with him 14 years of experience in primary education, having worked as a teacher, middle leader and digital leader. His experience gives him a first-hand understanding of schools, the challenges they face and the role technology can play in supporting teaching and learning.

Now bringing that experience into Eduthing, Henry will be helping schools make the most of technology from a perspective that comes from being in the classroom himself.

Welcoming the next generation of talent to Eduthing!

We’re delighted to welcome George, Ikram and Ryan to the team as our newest apprentices.

For Ikram and Ryan, this is the next step in a journey that started with us over the summer, when they completed their T-level work placements at Eduthing. We were thrilled to be able to offer them apprenticeship roles and see them continue to grow with us.

We’re proud to support new talent through apprenticeship programmes, giving people the opportunity to learn, gain real experience and build their careers alongside an experienced team.
