Congratulations to our technician Sam Powell! Sam passed his driving test on Thursday and now has a combined role as mobile engineer and lead workshop engineer. Well done Sam - passed first time too!
Sam has already started his mobile work and has discovered all sorts of places he'd never visited before - such as Parkgate and Eastham. 'This has broadened my horizons no end', reported Sam after returning from his maiden call in Greasby.

Congratulations to Sam Coathup! Sam has spent the last 18 months training on his Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship course with Estio Training. Finally, the result came through yesterday, and Sam has passed the two part course, part one with a Distinction and part two with a Merit.

For the last two weeks in March, we had the pleasure of hosting Andrew Lambert for his Year 10 work experience. Andrew attends The Mosslands School, and particularly enjoys his Media course he's currently undertaking. Andrew has been shown all about what we do here at ProperGeeks, and has been very attentive throughout.

Pictured below is Apprentice Wil Healey (L) and Andrew Lambert (R). Wil is showing Andrew how we set up window displays, and is introducing him to our new 'Prop'O'Meter'. The Prop-O-Meter tells our customers what speed they can expect from their new device and what storage capacity it has. Andrew thought it was a Proper Wonderful invention!

We wish Andrew the very best, and hope he continues doing well with his studies.

Last week, we hosted Liam Prichard for his Year 10 work experience. Liam is currently studying IT, DT, and History at Hilbre High School. Liam was shown all aspects of what we do here, and he enthusiastically got involved with everything.
Pictured below is Liam (L) and Sam Coathup, explaining how to build a desktop computer, and how to neatly organise the cables inside.
Liam said, "Throughout the placement at ProperGeeks, I have really enjoyed the aspects of IT that I was being shown. I also really enjoyed speaking to the team at ProperGeeks and learning from them. During the week I gained in-depth knowledge and IT skills. My ambition is that once I have completed my exams, I hope to pursue a career in IT."
Thanks Liam, it was a real pleasure to have you with us for the week! All the very best for the future, and we hope you keep in touch.
