Alternative to the Microchip RN4678 Bluetooth Module.
We are now promoting a low cost pin for pin replacement. As well as being the same form factor the module supports a simple AT command interface allowing serial comms over UART and control via an external host similar to that offered on the RN4678.
This module is available for sample and evaluation today!

The Atlantik solutions for Industrial Tablet & PC application are based on the latest processor technology out of the ARM and the x 86 world. As well as an option with the integration of latest LAN & WAN RF technologies like e.g. Wi-Fi 6 or Cellular 5G at various levels of integration, whether it is a module, a single-board computer or customized PCB or a ready-to-use Panel PC end product.

In the first integration level Atlantik offers a range of Microprocessor modules (so called SoMs) based on NXP (i.MX), ST-Micro, Renesas, Rockchip ARM Cortex CPUs or as an alternative with x86 Low Power Intel® Atom™, Celeron® and Pentium® processors (Formerly Apollo Lake) module based solution. For the wireless connection we offer a variety of different technologies Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Lora etc. in different integration level form Chipset to the “stupid” frontend module.

For the industrial Ethernet world we offer different connectivity solution for e.g. with RJ45 and M12 connectors and/or cables assemblies for the usage in industrial and ruggedized applications while providing reliable connections that support Modbus, Ethernet, PROFINET, and EtherCAT communication protocols.

As another key component Atlantik offers a huge range of displays (standard & custom) and HMI Solutions for all serviced market segments but especially suited in different product lines for industrial ruggedized environments. To be complete we offer Microcontroller (e.g Companion peripheral controller for x86 processors), a huge variety of sensor IC and modules, as well as memory ICs, memory modules (e.g industrials SSDs) and antennas.
In the next stage, known as bundling and customization, Atlantik offers products and services that help its customers develop and bring products to market in less time. Worlds first 5G antenna from ATXX

Ultra-wideband all-in-one antenna with optimized adaption for all 5G bands and frequencies

ATXX today introduces the world's first ultra-wideband all-in-one 5G reference antenna with optimized adoption for all 5G bands and frequencies from 600 MHz to 6 GHz with matching reflection attenuation of at least S11 = -10dB (VSWR = 2).
Developed in Bavaria, this antenna covers all 5G frequencies including 3G/4G frequencies and also covers IoT, GPS/GNSS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 5.9 GHz V2X applications. The application is suitable for 5G demo systems and reference setups as well as for tests of multi-antenna methods, "Massive MIMO" (Multiple Input, Multiple Output).
The innovative design features a new modified quasi-fractal antenna structure with optimized ready-band antenna matching. This has been proven to achieve nearly uniform antenna gain and high antenna efficiency over the entire frequency range.
In communications technology, an antenna matching of highest or better VSWR = 2 (corresponds to S11 = -10 dB) is required. Usually, most broadband antennas are only partially matched or not matched at all, causing problems in the 5G application or leading to unwanted antenna losses. Mismatched antennas reflect the transmitting power back to the transmitter, causing interfering effects or possibly also automatically reducing the transmitting power strongly and thus extremely limiting the system range. This means loss of radio range, lower data rate, higher energy consumption and delays.
The new ATXX wideband antenna avoids all these problems and enables optimal use for 5G systems and many other wireless applications from 600MHz to 6GHz.
The antenna connector with U.FL (Hirose, IPX, Ipex connector), RF connection cable from U.FL (MHF1) to MHF4 is suitable for all 5G modules and reference designs available on the market.

Thundercomm and BCD-Atlantik sign distribution agreement

Thundercomm Technology Co., Ltd., worldwide leading supplier of Qualcomm Snapdragon based products and BCD-Atlantik, provider of advanced complete solutions, have signed a distribution agreement for EU, UK as well as Turkey.
Thundercomm was jointly established by Thunder Software Co., Ltd. and Qualcomm® Technologies, Inc. in 2016 and is located in Beijing. Based on Qualcomm Snapdragon Technology, Thundercomm is devoted to IoT products such as smart cameras, robots, VR/AR devices, wearable devices, drones, medical equipment and industrial IoT to help partners and customers accelerate the process of IoT products from the prototype to the mass production.

With Thundercomm we are able to offer both standard SoMs as well as custom solutions from PCB development to complete products.

The aim of the cooperation is to market new technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.

BCD-Atlantik, provider of innovative solutions, presents a new high-quality 7" inch display with high brightness and wide viewing angle.

HMI designers have long been faced with the challenge of balancing the component specification with the cost of their Bill of Materials (BoM). Especially when building products for use in difficult environments, finding the right balance of price and performance can be difficult. The new 7” high brightness display module from BCD-Atlantik aims to help R&D engineers by offering excellent performance for a bargain price.

Ideally suited for applications used in sunlight conditions, such as Marine Navigation or Outdoor HMIs, the new 7” 1024x600 pixel display offers 1000 cd/m² brightness, which provides enough performance for tough light conditions that would overpower standard displays. The IPS TFT panel guarantees a wide viewing angle of 80 degrees in all directions, as well as offering excellent contrast. These characteristics lead to an optical performance that would enhance the user experience of high-end products.

To guarantee the best flexibility of integration, the display is available with an optional projective capacitive touchpanel. An RGB display interface is provided as standard, with alternative interfaces possible on a semi-custom basis.
