Scrivener

Scrivener The official page of Scrivener, the app for writers. While our headquarters are in Cornwall, UK, our small team spans the globe.

Literature & Latte was founded in 2006 to bring together processes familiar to writers in new, exciting ways, and our award-winning software is now used by thousands of writers the world over. Our software has helped turn napkins into novels, thoughts into theses and scribbles into screenplays. Scrivener is the go-to app for writers of all kinds, combining all the tools you need to craft your first draft, from nascent notion to final full stop. Scapple is a virtual sheet of paper that lets you make notes anywhere and connect them using lines or arrows. We're united by a love of writing, our pride in our products and respect for our customers and the community that has grown up around our software. And why "Literature & Latte"? Because our apps are designed to make writers feel right at home - like your favourite book- or coffee shop.

** ABOUT OUR FACEBOOK PAGE **
Our page is a place for our customers to interact and respond to news we post about our software. To keep this a positive place for everyone, we reserve the right to take down or hide comments that we deem “unproductive” or off-topic. This includes rude or insulting behaviour, but also any posts that derail a topic. So, please be respectful and ensure your comments are relevant to the topic at hand. But don’t worry, we’re always available to answer any questions! If you have a question that doesn’t relate to a topic on our page, simply send us a message either via Facebook or email (email is usually best). It can be difficult to get to the end of your first draft. Writers often try to do too much, but a first draft should be incomplete.

This stage isn’t about perfection; it’s about getting the scaffolding of a story down on paper (or on screen). Nevertheless, the first draft does need to contain a certain number of elements, and it’s important to know what to aim for when writing your first draft. Find out more: https://buff.ly/JsK4iJ7
