With Apple having increased prices of many new products by 15-20% today, I thought I would highlight that your old Mac may still have some life left in it yet and, with some upgrades, performance could be improved a bit for some Macs (2012-2020).

For those stuck on older, unsupported version of macOS, there is some trickery that can be performed to force a newer version of macOS to install. This, in turn, allows you to squeeze a bit more time out of existing hardware and... hopefully... gain enough time to see Apple's prices come back down again.
