This person is happy to turn up on my day off to fix his phone which wasn't charging, I agreed to do it in an hour which he asks if I could do it quicker. I get it done in 30 minutes, and he comes back to pay by card, his card declines a few times so I foolishly said drop back the cash tomorrow. This was over a week ago now, and he's not answering my calls and ignoring my texts. I believe he's blocked my number. He said someone called Meg recommended me. Didn't catch his name but whoever he is don't bother coming back to me again!!

iPhone 11 in for a screen repair today.

Unfortunately the previous repair shop didn’t think it was important to replace the dust/water seal adhesive, or program the screen.
New screen and seal fitted, unable to program screen for True Tone feature to work.

Here is a good example of why it's best to use a reputable repair service. Here we have an iPhone xr in for a new screen repair, the previous shop didn't bother to replace the old screen adhesive gasket, dust and water could get inside this phone quite easily.

Secondly they didn't copy the original screens unique eprom data. Without this the display won't use the ture tone feature.

And thirdly the screen used was a third party copy.
