We would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Jane Jenkins as she joins the business to take up the role of Human Resources Specialist.

Jane brings a wealth of experience, working with a variety of responsibilities within the HR function, where she focused heavily on recruitment and employee development.

Starting her career in administration Jane quickly identified a fondness for human resources, tailoring her role towards the focus of the employees on how better to serve and protect them whilst having the business interests at heart.

Jane also has a keen interest in compliance where she has strived to improve company policies ensuring they are kept up to date and still relevant in today’s environment. Through this interest Jane was able to expand her role to incorporate compliance into her responsibility to ensure facilities were managed, health & safety information was kept relevant, and the finance team had everything needed to process salaries on time.

As the Company grew Jane took it upon herself to support apprentices, as mentor, through their apprenticeships to support them in their personal development. This enabled the apprentices to have a sounding board away from their role and speak about the training they were receiving honestly and openly, giving the business the best return on investment available.

IS UK will benefit from Jane’s endeavour to ensure that the employee lifecycle is in line with company policy as well as the best experience for the employee. Jane recognises that keeping staff motivated and retained is in the best interests of the business and provides a better working environment for all.

Success stories:

✅Successfully delivered ISO 27001 Security accreditation for the business in 2016
✅Successfully mentored 13 apprentices to completion of their apprenticeship scheme
✅Created and streamlined new staff induction process
✅Created and issued a Managers Handbook to help them in their new Management role

Jane will be focused on Recruitment and HR here at TIS UK and we are pleased to have Jane on board and look forward to the changes ahead!
