If you're a Hotmail User, or any other Microsoft service such as Live, Outlook, or perhaps even MSN, then you may have had an email like the one pictured recently.

In English, what this message means is that you have previously accessed your emails on an older program or device. Programs like Outlook Express or any other Outlook from prior to 2020 will no longer be able to sync you emails, and likely older phones and tablets may halt too.

For those who access your emails on a phone or tablet, you should be safe to remove the account, and add it again. This will change the security settings to meet Microsoft's demands.
If you use one of the older programs above, then it might be time to move to a newer program such as the new Outlook which is included in most new machines, or can be downloaded from Microsoft themselves.

If you purchased Office 2021 or pay monthly/yearly for Office 365, then you should have nothing to worry about. Similarly, if you access your emails through the Outlook website, then you can continue to do so.

As always, if you are confused, you can always pop into the shop and ask a member of staff for help.
