How much is your business actually spending on ink and toner?
Most companies I speak to don’t really know.
It normally gets lost under stationery or office supplies. Someone orders a black cartridge, someone else orders colour, another department has a completely different printer… and nobody ever really adds it all together.
That’s where the problem starts.
A genuine colour toner set for a fairly normal office printer can already run into hundreds of pounds.
And the reason most businesses don’t look at it?
“We’ve already bought the printer.”
That’s true — but the printer being paid for doesn’t mean the cost has stopped.
If it’s the wrong machine for the amount you’re printing, you can keep paying for that original buying decision every time another cartridge is ordered.
Some businesses then try compatibles to save money. Sometimes that works, but not all compatibles are the same. Yield, colour, consistency and reliability can all vary.
If your business is spending more than £30 a month on ink or toner, or you’ve got several printers around the business, send us the models.
We’ll look at what you already have, what it’s costing and whether there’s a better way of doing it.
Sometimes the answer is new equipment.
Sometimes it’s managed print.
Sometimes it’s keep what you’ve already got.
The important thing is knowing the real cost.
