πŸ’• Client Love

There really is no better feeling than hearing that a client is over the moon with something you've created for them. πŸ₯Ή

I had the pleasure of designing this logo for a wonderful client, and I absolutely loved bringing their ideas to life and creating something that felt right for their business.

And this is what they had to say...

"Gaby has outperformed herself with my fantastic logo. I am over the moon with this design and cannot wait for the rest of my branding designs from her. Gaby is exceptional at this and over delivers every time." πŸ’•

Knowing that a client feels so excited about their new branding is exactly why I love what I do. A logo isn't just about creating something that looks pretty, it's about creating something that represents a business, its personality and the people behind it. ✨

In short... Happy clients make my designer heart very happy. πŸ’•

If you're thinking about giving your business a fresh new look, I'd love to chat about bringing your ideas to life.

Simple, cheerful & ready to celebrate πŸŽ‚πŸ’™

Sometimes a birthday card doesn’t need lots of bells and whistles. Just a lovely colour, beautiful lettering and a little bit of personality.

This blue and white design combines playful handwritten lettering with a clean, modern typeface to create a card that feels cheerful without being too much.

Perfect for sending a little birthday happiness to someone special. πŸ’Œ

And because I love creating designs for all sorts of occasions, there are plenty more greetings cards in the works too!

Myth Buster: Is social media enough without a website?

Social media is a fantastic way to connect with your audience, but it's often mistaken as a replacement for a website. The reality is that the two work best together.

πŸ“± Own your online presence. Your website belongs to you, whereas social media platforms can change at any time.

πŸ” Be found on Google. A website gives customers another way to discover your business online.

πŸ“– Share more information. Your website gives you the space to explain your services in much more detail.

🀝 Build trust. Many customers expect businesses to have a professional website before making contact.

πŸš€ Work as a team. Social media attracts visitors, while your website helps convert them into customers.

In short... Social media starts the conversation, but your website gives customers a place to truly get to know your business.

If you're ready to create a website that works alongside your social media, I'd love to chat. πŸ“ž

✨ A little introduction to the person behind Inkspiration... ✨

If you're new around here, I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly. And if you've been here a while, you might discover a few things you didn't know about me! πŸ‘‹

I'm Gaby, the girl behind Inkspiration by Gabrielle. I'm a graphic designer who loves nothing more than taking an idea that's been floating around someone's head and turning it into something real.

I love the designing, of course, but I also love all the little things that inspire me along the way.

🌿 I enjoy being outside, growing things, getting my hands dirty, being in nature or finding tiny little details that I probably wouldn't have noticed if I'd stayed indoors.

🎸 I play guitar, which is one of my favourite ways to switch off my creative brain for a while.

πŸ‚ I absolutely LOVE autumn. Give me crunchy leaves, beautiful colours and cosy evenings and I'm happy.

πŸŽ„ And then there's Christmas... I'm unapologetically one of those people. πŸ˜‚

β˜•οΈ I'm also a huge fan of blankets, a good mug and sitting wrapped up on the sofa watching something on the telly.

🍰 I have very important opinions about cake. Battenberg and Bakewell both get a very big YES from me.

❀️ And then there's my family, who are at the heart of everything I do, plus two Bengal cats who like to supervise my work and contribute absolutely nothing to the business. πŸ˜‚

I think all of these little pieces of me find their way into my work.

The colours I notice.
The details I love.
The things that inspire me.
The creativity that seems to follow me everywhere.

So, while Inkspiration by Gabrielle is my business, it's also a little reflection of me.

I love helping people take the ideas in their heads and turn them into something that feels completely them.

Whether it's wedding stationery, greetings cards, branding, websites, invitations or something completely different, that's the bit I love most.

Taking your ideas and bringing them to life. ✨

So, hello if you're new here, and thank you if you've been following along for a while. ❀️

Now you know a little more about the person behind the designs. 😁 πŸ€—

Hi everyone,

Here is the link to my latest blog post, where I talk about the Do's and Dont's of Business Card Design.

Let’s be honest, business cards are tiny, but mighty. In a world filled with digital noise, a beautifully designed business card is still one of the most effective ways to leave a lasting impression. Whether you’re handing one over at a networking event or popping it into a client’s order, your card is a pocket-sized reflection of your brand.

Here’s a helpful guide to the do’s and don’ts of business card design to make sure your cards not only look stunning, but also do their job.

I hope you enjoy reading it.

Take care,

Gabrielle x

πŸͺš Client Project | Perry's Carpentry & Joinery

There is something really satisfying about taking a business and giving all of its pieces a fresh new look that feels completely them. ✨

I've recently had the pleasure of working with Perry's Carpentry & Joinery on a complete rebrand, bringing their branding, website and printed materials together to create a much more consistent identity for the business.

We started with the logo, creating a fresh new look that reflects the quality and craftsmanship behind the business. πŸͺš

From there, I carried the new branding across their:

🌿 Website
πŸ’Ό Business cards
πŸ“„ Flyers
🎨 Logo

One of my favourite parts of a rebrand is seeing how a logo that starts as one little design develops into something much bigger. It's not just about having a nice logo sitting on its own, it's about creating a visual identity that works wherever your customers see you.

From a business card handed over at a job, to a flyer through someone's letterbox, to someone discovering the business online, everything now feels connected and recognisably Perry's Carpentry & Joinery. 🀎

For any carpentry and joinery needs, please contact PCJ Services: https://pcjservices.co.uk/

And that's exactly what good branding should do.

It should make your business feel professional, consistent and memorable, while still feeling true to the people behind it.

In short... A rebrand isn't simply about changing how your business looks. It's about creating an identity that represents where your business is now and where you want it to go. ✨

If your business has grown but your branding hasn't quite caught up, I'd love to chat about how we could bring your ideas to life. πŸ’•

πŸ’ Wedding Wednesdays

There is something rather lovely about being part of a couple's wedding journey from the very beginning. πŸ’•

Earlier this year, I had the absolute pleasure of creating the wedding stationery for the lovely Leah & Becca, and I'm so excited to finally start sharing some of it with you.

We started with their Save the Dates, and I wanted these to set the tone for everything that was to come. 🌿

The deep, muted green paired beautifully with soft burgundy floral details, with their names sitting within a delicate golden circular design. And then came one of my favourite details... those gorgeous burgundy wax seals. ❀️

I love how much a little wax seal can add to a piece of stationery. It makes something that has arrived through the post feel a little more special, and gives the recipient that lovely feeling of "something exciting is inside." ✨

Their wedding date was also incorporated into the design as a little calendar, with their special day marked out with a tiny heart. I love details like this because they're not just decorative, they're personal to the couple and their story.

And, of course, these Save the Dates were just the beginning... πŸ‘€

I also had the pleasure of creating Leah & Becca's wedding invitations and on-the-day stationery, all designed to work together and carry the same beautiful style throughout their day (which you I will post as the weeks go on).

So this is just the first little glimpse into their wedding stationery story. πŸ’Œ

Your Save the Date is the very first glimpse your guests get of your wedding, so why not make it feel like the beginning of something special?

If you're looking for personalised wedding stationery designed around you, your story and your wedding, I'd love to chat. πŸ’•

There is something pretty amazing about nature when you stop and really look at it. 🌱

This week at , the beans had come to the end of their season, so it was time to clear the plants away and make room for whatever comes next.

As I started tidying everything up, I found myself stopping to look at just how the plants had grown.

They had twisted and turned their way through the netting, wrapped themselves around the wooden supports and somehow found a way through every little gap. 🌿

And then, amongst all those tangled stems, I started finding little visitors too. 🐞

Ladybirds tucked away amongst the plants, completely at home, just going about their day.

My son loved finding them too and carefully holding them before letting them go again. It was such a lovely little moment.

It's easy to rush through jobs like this, thinking about what needs doing next, but there is so much happening when you take a moment to look a little closer.

A tiny plant finding its way through the supports.
A ladybird hiding amongst the leaves.
New life waiting to take the place of what has finished.

Nature really is incredible. 🌱

And I think that's something I love about creativity too. Sometimes the best things are found when you slow down, look a little differently and notice what's already there.

Creativity grows in unexpected places. 🌿
