💻 30 YEARS OF TAMWORTH COMPUTER CENTRE.

I recently caught up with Anthony, owner of Tamworth Computer Centre, to chat about the story behind the independent business, how Tamworth town centre has changed over the years and how this has impacted his shop, and why supporting local businesses really matters.

Anthony put it perfectly:

“Customers that walk through the door will be valued. They won’t just be a number.”

That’s exactly why independent businesses like this are so important to our town. 🙌🏼

We also spoke about an exciting STAFF VACANCY for an experienced PC & Laptop Technician. 👇🏻

A huge thank you to Alfie on Air for taking the time to come and speak with us about 30 years of Tamworth Computer Centre. 💙💻

It was an absolute pleasure meeting Alfie. Genuinely one of the nicest, most down-to-earth young men I’ve met and a real credit to his generation. He has a natural way with people, a real passion for what he does, and I can honestly see him going a very long way. 👏

We spoke about how Tamworth has changed over the years, what it means to have kept an independent town-centre business going for 30 years, the importance of supporting local businesses, and even managed to squeeze in a mention of our current staff vacancy!

Anyone who knows me will know that being interviewed and sitting in front of a camera is completely outside my comfort zone — I find the whole thing totally cringey! 😂😂 But Alfie made the whole experience relaxed and bearable 😂😂😂 .

Thanks again, Alfie, and keep doing what you’re doing. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of on Air in the future. 👏👏

Just a little heads-up for tomorrow 😊

With the planned walks coming through Tamworth town centre and along Victoria Road, we’ll be closing a little earlier than usual at 11:00am.

We’ll still be here from 9:00am–11:00am for collections, drop-offs and anything else you need.

With all the temporary road closures, we just feel it may be a bit awkward for people to get to us later in the day, so closing a little earlier seems the most sensible thing to do.

We know how much events like this can affect access around the town centre, so we’d rather let everyone know in plenty of time.

Thanks so much for your understanding, and as always, a huge thank you for continuing to support local businesses like ours here in Tamworth ❤️
