POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Operations Support
Term: Shift pattern to include weekends
Reporting to: Operations head of dept.
Location: Tamworth area

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for day-to-day smooth running of the main warehouse operation in the Midlands.
Candidates should be conversant in technology and should be highly effective communicators, able to multitask and understand briefs and opportunity quickly.
This is a unique opportunity within an exciting young company in an exciting industry.
Responsibilities: -
• First line support to technical helpdesk
• There will be some on-site face to face support for end users
(following training period)
• Answering to the Network Manager and offering day to day
assistance.
• Picking & preparation of equipment from the warehouse to
dispatch to multiple sites, making sure equipment is complete,
serviced and ready for the end user.
• Unloading of equipment returned from event sites, de
prepping, servicing and storing until next use.
• Assist in servicing and testing our vast range of IT/CCTV
equipment ready for deployment.
• Organising and securely packing equipment to ship directly to
site if required using couriers.
• Ensure our fleet of vehicles are kept in good order, perform
basic checks and keep basic maintenance records.
• General warehouse and office duties to keep a smooth-
running warehouse operation.
• Effective management of escalations from deployment teams
• Constant focus on improvement and optimisation
• Clear direction and communication to site and project teams
About You :-
• You should have 3+ years’ experience in Warehouse
operations and logistics
• Experience with the events sector advantageous.
• An interest in technology and ability to grasp the broad
concepts.
• Strong communicator – Comfortable using data to diagnose
challenges, identify opportunities, and drive solutions through
emails, calls, and in-person meetings.
• Active Listener and collaborator - Listens actively and asks
questions to fully understand what matters.
• Able to manage well with ambiguity - Strong problem-solving
skills, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure
• Ability to efficiently prioritise a large number of competing
requests
• Needs to be able to work independently and off their own
initiative
• A knowledge of H&S is required with the ability to contribute
to safety procedures.

• Some weekend working (paid overtime) during peak periods
Pay: ÂŁ21-30k
Hours: Shift pattern to include weekend on call
