With years of experience in the event industry delivering live sound systems for a wide range of applications, Costello Audio began its journey with one primary aim: to provide spectacular experiences through the use of PA systems. Now we have expanded our capabilities to deliver full technical production, supporting events with video, lighting and live-streaming services.

It's always a pleasure to be invited by emc3 to support technical delivery at the British Society of Rheumatology Annual Conference 2026.

Attended by more than 2,000 delegates, this hybrid conference included 8 hybrid conference spaces, more than 70 live streamed sessions, 200+ speakers and additional expo stages operating simultaneously across the venue.

Delivering a conference of this scale relies on a clear and coordinated production process long before the first session begins.

Our team delivered audio, video, lighting, set and stage, live streaming and site-wide content distribution, supported by more than 35 technicians working across the event.

With multiple spaces, speakers and live outputs running at the same time, maintaining clarity and consistency across delivery was essential. Through a structured approach and close coordination with emc3, every element remained aligned throughout the conference.

The result was an experience that allowed speakers, delegates and organisers to stay focused on the content, while the production operated calmly and reliably in the background.

Take a look behind the scenes at Carlsberg Britvic's first employee conference! 👀

Before the doors opened, the space was brought to life from the ground up. Staging, integrated LED, audio, video and lighting systems were installed, tested and refined - delivered through one coordinated production process.

This stage of the project is rarely seen, but it’s where the technical design is put into place, checked in full and prepared before live delivery.

The event brought together teams from across the business to reflect on their first year and set the direction for what comes next. With more than 20 years’ experience in the events industry, Aaron is a highly respected technical production leader, trusted to deliver complex events across a wide range of formats. His expertise is rooted in video technology and live broadcast, underpinned by a calm, disciplined approach to technical decision‑making.

Before joining CPG, Aaron held senior technical leadership roles within established event agencies, where he was responsible for setting technical direction and overseeing delivery for large‑scale, high‑profile events. At CPG, he'll define the technical framework behind every project, ensuring delivery is grounded in experience and clarity - no matter the scale or pressure of the brief.
