Had a customer email me about this a500 motherboard he was close enough to drop it off today, I was expecting a 50 something man (normal customer base) turned out to be a 13 year old lad with his mum, he’s well into Amigas so I sorted him out with a replacement motherboard to replace the rev 5 that didn’t work anymore. Think one of the ram or logic chips have gone on the original motherboard it was cheaper to swap out the motherboard than me spending hours trying to pin down the issue as it was hanging on a yellow or green sometimes a grey screen boot looping and never getting to kickstart screen.
All his ocs chips worked.
I asked him if he had the game IK+ he said no so as a surprise I made a disk on my grease weasel drive on my PC seen running on his floppy drive in the reel.
I haven’t told him about the free game 👍
Good to see a young lad into the best home computer ever.
