New website launch: Timber Built Dartmouth

It’s always a pleasure when a client comes back to work with you again.

I first worked with Joe when he was based in the Midlands. After relocating to Devon, he got back in touch for a new website and SEO to support his Dartmouth-based business, Timber Built.

Joe creates bespoke garden rooms, outdoor kitchens, timber saunas, modular extensions, joinery and home renovations across Dartmouth and South Devon. His new website needed to communicate that range while reflecting the care and craftsmanship behind his work.

New online shop launch: Happy Mat Living

I’m delighted to share the launch of Happy Mat Living, a beautiful new online shop offering luxury botanical candles created for meditation, yoga and mindful daily rituals.

The business was founded by Lisa, an experienced yoga teacher who has used candlelight in her classes for many years. After struggling to find candles combining natural, calming fragrances with a clean, long-lasting burn and genuinely premium quality, she decided to create her own.

The Ritual Collection features four hand-poured candles, Solace, Drift, Bloom and Amber, each blended around a different mood and intention. Every candle also includes access to an exclusive guided meditation via a QR code, transforming it from a beautiful fragrance into a complete mindful experience.

Lisa had already completed much of the Wix website design herself and asked me to help refine it. I polished the look and feel, improved the structure and user experience, and implemented the foundations of an SEO strategy designed to help the shop build visibility and momentum over time.

Wix may not be my usual platform of choice, but I was pleased to help Lisa turn her creative work into a more polished, professional and search-friendly online shop.

New website launch: Mackenzie Outdoor Living

Some businesses begin with a gap in the market. Mackenzie Outdoor Living began with an unfinished patio and the search for something better.

The founder wanted to turn the patio into a genuine extension of the home: somewhere substantial, comfortable and beautifully crafted where people could relax, entertain and spend time together.

Parasols only offered a temporary solution. The pergolas already available felt either cold and industrial or too lightweight to create a lasting sense of place.

That search became a conviction: an outdoor structure should be more than another garden feature. It should have the presence of architecture, the warmth of natural timber and the character to become part of the home.

From that idea, Mackenzie Outdoor Living was born.

The company creates British-made architectural pergolas, individually designed around each customer’s home, garden and lifestyle. The Classic combines carefully considered proportions with solid oak or Western red cedar, while The Signature offers a more personal exploration of atmosphere, lighting, landscaping and artisan detail.

A website relaunch that began as a rescue mission.

When Reach Rehab first contacted me, their website had been hacked, and pharmaceutical ads were being injected into the pages. The immediate priority was to remove the infected files and restore the site to working order.

Once it was back online, the next challenge became clear. Several companies had worked on the website over the years, leaving behind an inconsistent mixture of layouts and styles that no longer reflected the professionalism of the business.

I have now completely redesigned and refreshed the website, giving it a cohesive new look, clearer navigation and a much stronger platform from which to showcase Reach Rehab’s specialist physiotherapy services.

The project also included extensive local SEO work, with carefully developed service and location content designed to help more people find Reach Rehab when searching for specialist mobile physiotherapy in Lichfield and the surrounding areas.
