Quick update - we’re going to be closed for the next week or two while I recover from an emergency surgery, I am feeling well in myself and a full recovery is on the cards but that means the shop will be closed till I imagine at LEAST the 16th of March.

I should still be able to take messages and calls for advice and bookings but please kindly bear with me if I am unable to get back to you.

Here are some answers to a few of our Frequently asked questions.

Where are you located? - Just on the Outskirts of Sudbury/Halstead

How do I contact you? - Either the message function on this page, via the landline number of 01787 373706 (option 2) or at [email protected]

What are your opening times? - Generally 10-6 BUT we are APPOINTMENT ONLY! please message or call first to book a time to see us.

Do you do home visits/callouts? - Yes (as long as you are within our catchment area) there is an additional charge on top for those.

What can you do for me? - We repair desktop and laptop computers, we do custom computer builds, we can source new and used systems, we can help look after small business general IT and network infrastructure /security, help with data backup and recovery and other general day to day IT requirements (and many other things that are not listed).

What don't you do? - We do an awful lot of stuff, however there are some main things we will not do and that is anything that requires micro soldering, we do not fix phones or tablets, we as a general rule of thumb do not offer lessons on how to use your computer.

Do you buy and sell electronics - yes depending on what they are we do occasionally buy things to refurbish or sell on, Mobile Phones and tablets are excluded from this list.

I have a big box full of old keyboards, mice, cables and floppy disks, do you want these? - No thank you, please take them to your local recycling centre, however if there is a vintage desktop or laptop computer to go along with them then we may well be interested.

Would you like any toast? - Look, I don't want any toast, and he doesn't want any toast. In fact, no one around here wants any toast. Not now, not ever. No toast!

SSD and Memory upgrade performed on a brand new Dell laptop Today!

Taking it from 256GB of storage and 8GB of ram to 1TB of storage and 16GB of ram.

Not only that but the SSD is much faster making it a very snappy machine now!

Due to a slight work email server meltdown (don’t worry, I have a highly skilled team of engineers on it as you can see) I have had a number of emails from the last week including some appointments and details disappear into the unknown.

We finally have high speed internet at our little rural Workshop.

All this means that OS re installs, system and driver updates will be done in a fraction of a time meaning we can get your computer back to you even faster than before!

Oh and I guess that means we can download games faster too…

After a very busy year of builds, repairs and 3D printing repair parts we are finally closed for Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who I’ve had the pleasure of doing work for this year, I look forward to your hopefully continued custom in the future.

Today we have finished a high end Dental CAD machine for Dental Evolution, with a scanner and general workload that requires high end graphics and processing power this will for the bill for many years yet!

32GB DDR4 Memory
1TB Samsung 980 NVME SSD
Nvidia RTX 2060 Super
Seasonic 650 Watt PSU
And a 4K LG 27” monitor

Safe to say we would keep this one if we could 😍
