Meet the blackbird. 🐦‍⬛ Garden favourite, tireless forager, and, as it turns out, a secret tree planter. 🌳

🌱 How do they do it? Blackbirds eat berries and fruits whole, then deposit the seeds intact across the landscape in their droppings. Every berry eaten has the potential to become a new tree or shrub somewhere down the line.

These little songsters are helping to rewild Britain, one digestive system at a time. 💚
