🌾 FARMS & PRODUCERS: GOING TO MARKET? LET CUSTOMERS FIND YOU!

If you’re trading at a market listed on Roadside Stall, add your attendance and the dates you’ll be there. Give customers the information they need to plan a visit to your stall.

Here’s where they can find your market plans:

📍 ON THE MARKET’S RS PROFILE
Customers can see which farms and producers will be attending — and on which dates.

🚜 ON YOUR OWN RS PROFILE
Anyone visiting your farm’s profile can see your upcoming markets and where to find you.

🌐 ON YOUR OWN WEBSITE
Add the RS market widget to display your upcoming market appearances on your website. It stays updated from your RS profile, so your website visitors can check your schedule there too.

Whether someone discovers the market first, visits your farm’s profile or browses your website, you’re making it easier for them to find you.

🔔 Customers can also use “Remind me” in the app to set a reminder for their chosen market date.

Already have your next market booked? Find it in RS and add your attendance.

Can’t find a market you attend? Send us the details so we can add it.

🤝 RS helps customers find you. Purchases and payments take place directly with you, outside the app.

📅 “FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH”… WHICH SATURDAY WAS THAT AGAIN? 😂

I don’t know about you, but I’m very good at remembering a local market… on completely the wrong Saturday.

And that’s exactly why we’ve added market reminders to Roadside Stall. 🔔

When you find a market you’d like to visit:

1. Open Events in the RS app and find the market.
2. Tap “Remind me”.
3. Choose the market date you’d like to attend.
4. Pick one of the preset reminder options or set your own custom timing.

RS will remind you according to your settings, helping you remember the right day before the market has been and gone.

Just make sure notifications for RS are enabled on your phone. 📲

Your phone can do the remembering - you just need to bring the shopping bags! 🛍️

Found us through a farm we’ve shared? Wondering what RS actually does? Here’s what you need to know. 🥛🥚🍯

Roadside Stall was created by a customer who knew the frustration of searching for local farms, trying to find out what they sold and whether it was worth making the journey.

Finding a pin on a map was only the beginning. The next question was always: “What can I actually buy there?”

So we built RS around that question.

📍 FIND LOCAL PRODUCERS
Discover farm shops, milk vending machines, honesty boxes, bakeries and other local producers near you.

🛒 SEE WHAT THEY OFFER
Browse products and prices added by the producers themselves, so you can plan your visit.

🟢 CHECK BEFORE YOU TRAVEL
Producers can update their offers with statuses such as Available, Just restocked, Out of stock or Out of order, plus notes about refills or collection days. Check their latest update before setting off with those empty bottles!

🔔 FOLLOW THE PLACES YOU LOVE
Follow a producer on RS and enable notifications. When they publish a new offer, we send the notification to every follower with notifications enabled - without a social media feed algorithm deciding who gets to hear about it.

🗓️ KNOW WHO’S AT THE MARKET - AND WHERE TO FIND YOUR FAVOURITE FARMS

On a market’s RS profile, you can see which farms will be attending and on which dates. On a farm’s profile, you can see the upcoming markets where you’ll find them.

Farmers can also add a widget to their own website showing their market schedule, kept up to date from their RS profile.

That’s what makes RS more than a collection of pins: producers can manage their own profiles, share offers and keep customers informed as things change.

🥛 GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE STARTS BEFORE THE JOURNEY.

Keeping customers informed about availability is a simple way to show that you value their time.

Already using offer statuses on Roadside Stall? Let your customers know! We’ve prepared this graphic for dairy farms to personalise with their own QR code and share on their social media profiles.

📲 HERE’S HOW TO GET YOUR QR CODE:

1. Open your RS Profile.
2. Go to View Shops.
3. Use the blue QR code button for the relevant shop.
4. Download your code and place it inside the blank frame.

Have more than one shop? Use the QR code for the location you’re promoting.

Share the completed graphic, pin it to your Facebook profile or display it beside your milk machine so customers know where to check before their next visit.

🥛 DAIRY FARMS: HELP CUSTOMERS CHECK BEFORE THEY TRAVEL.

Nobody wants to drive out with empty bottles, discover the milk has sold out or the machine has broken down, and take those same empty bottles home again.

A Facebook update can easily be missed. On Roadside Stall, your availability status appears directly on your offers - ready for customers to check before setting off. 📍

You can also add a note explaining when the next refill is expected, when the machine should be back in service or when pre-orders can be collected.

🐄 Cotwalton Dairy is already putting this into practice.

Their bottled raw milk is available by pre-order only, with collection on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. That information is clearly displayed alongside the offer, helping customers plan ahead.

A small update from you can save someone a wasted journey. Keep your status current as availability changes, and give customers the information they need.

🔔 Publishing a new offer? RS sends a notification to every follower who has notifications enabled - so encourage your customers to follow your profile too.

Already on the RS map? Add your milk offers and start using availability statuses. More informed customers, fewer wasted journeys and fewer disappointed people heading home with empty bottles. 🤝
