We’ve created a new brand and website for Book Festival 📚

Working with Stoke-on-Trent City Council, we've given the festival a personality of its own, with a flexible look and feel designed to grow with the event and come to life across different touchpoints.

We carried that identity through into the design and development of the new website, creating a clear and engaging place to discover the festival, explore the programme and find out out what’s happening across the city.

We’re really excited to see Stoke Book Festival out in the world this October!

For Newcastle-under-Lyme School, celebrating 425 years meant creating something that recognised its history while still looking firmly ahead ✨

What can tattoo culture teach us about creating a distinctive visual style?

For this weeks 30-minute design challenge, the team created their own tattoo flash sheets, each built around a distinct visual style, from Neo-Traditional and Gothic to Americana and scientific illustration 🥀

The challenge was to choose a clear creative direction, curating ideas that belonged together and build a collection with a strong, consistent visual identity.

It also gave the team a chance to explore how tattoo culture has influenced branding beyond the studio, from Sailor Jerry and Liquid Death to Ed Hardy.
